Vi is one of my main champions to play in the jungle in solo queue for the reason that people don't know what to do against her when she gets ahead. In this guide if you are interested in Vi you can learn what to build and how to snow ball her lead in to a powerful champion that could carry games very hard.

You want to max your Q first for the better bonus damage scaling when you charge it up all of the way and for the CDR on it so you can get more Q's off. Msx E second for the amazing scaling that it has and then finally your W.

You need these runes for the reason that vi has VERY high AD scaling and she really needs that extra dmg because its too good to pass it by

or Greater Glyph of Cool Down Reduction
Take the glyph of MR if you are against some heavy AP comps or there are more than one big AP threat on the other team. Or you can take the CDR glyph if you aren't against a heavy AP comp or more than one big AP threat.


Take 9 seals of armor because it helps you sustain better in the jungle and its kind of a staple rune when jungling.


Take these quints for the same reason that you take the AD marks. Too good to pass by because the scaling on vi's abilities is too good to pass by.

Your Q is a awesome tool to get up to your enemies and keep dealing dmg to them close up. Use this in combination with flash to surprise your enemy and get the kill on them mostly. you charge your q then let go , FLASH right after you let go to extend the distance on her Q and really surprise your target.


Your W is good for attack speed early to out skirmish people and good for farming. You want to grab it first because you can get more AAs off and clear faster at lvl one than if you were to get your E or Q first.


Your E is a pretty good source of DMG and tower push this is also a great farming tool for the AOE dmg that it gives off. For a simple combo you can Auto attack + E + AA + E for Auto attack resets and get the max damage off.


Your R is really good tool for skirmishes or just getting up close and personal with the your target in team fights. This is an amazing ability to have when you are in team fights so you can catch your enemy carry and kill them. Your ult also pushes back and does damage to all targets in the way when you are ulting so use that to your advantage.


Your Passive is great for jungling and small skirmishes and it might just save your life. Your passive is a shield that procs with your next ability hit. this means its can be proc'd on your Q,W,E,and R. Use the shield to absorb damage in the jungle to clear camps without much return damage.

- needs a lot of gold to do tons of damage

- need to learn how and when to ult the right target

When Starting your camp you can start on either red buff side or blue buff side just pick one depending on the lane you might want to gank. Start your first camp (Krugs/Gromp) smite when they come up and lvl up your W and start AAing. make sure you walk back and fourth when in between basic attacks to save some HP by making the buff or melee camp running at you instead of preparing another attack. after getting lvl 2 get your e and start your buff. Remember auto attack then E then AA then E for max dmg and keep kiting those buffs. after your buff you want to go and try to get the Rift Scuddler. after getting the scuddler get your raptors (NOTE KILL THE BABY RAPTORS FIRST BECAUSE THEY DO A LOT OF DAMAGE AND THEY ARE REALLY EASY TO KILL.) go back after your raptors get your items and go to gromp. After smiting gromp get blue and then look for a gank, if there are no chances to gank then keep clearing your jungle, warding , and securing OBJs.
Later on if you have some kills make sure you are up in levels by farming BUT DON'T AFK FARM . if you are planning to AFK farm then go botrk and plan for your team to be mad if you don't gank
Make sure the camps that you do smite are either the GROMP Buff or the Raptors for the gromp poison or the raptors oracle lens.

Make sure you Ult the right target at the right time when your team is near by to prevent you wasting your ultimate and dying and potentially wasting some of your team's well needed damage.
After finding a window to ult your intended target try to get in front of them and Q them back wards into your team so they can't escape as easily. Try to hit as many people as possible with your E and get those Auto attacks off to do the max damage.
