Intro (PLS READ)
Hi guys! My name is JaayD! This is my first build/guide so please bear with me ;)
I've played Warwick since I started playing LoL, it was my first champ and I think he is really fun to play because of his fast chasing abilities, attack speed, and natural "life steal". These aspects make him a incredible 1v1 champ.
Hope u like the guide! Have fun.
Warwick was once a man revered for his ability to track down human specimens for the darkest types of scientific research. When his ambitions exceeded his physical limits, he drank a dangerous elixir to transform himself into an unstoppable manhunter. His newfound strength bore a heavy price.
Before his transformation, Warwick found his calling in Zaun as a "procurer" of human test subjects. Known for his crafty methods and ruthless determination, people regarded him with a cautious mixture of fear and respect. As his reputation grew, so did the demands placed upon him. His clients wanted more rare and dangerous specimens, and they wanted them sooner. To meet their demands, Warwick needed the strength that transcended his limited human form. His longtime friend, Singed, devised a powerful formula. The recipe called for three critical components: silver from the Shadow Isles, the fang of a Balefire dire wolf, and the heart of a celestial being. Warwick tracked down the first two in short order, but the third proved a much greater challenge. He traveled to Ionia to trap Soraka, a creature believed to be a child of the stars, but she discovered his ploy and drove him away with powerful magic. Unable to tolerate his failure, Warwick returned to Singed disfigured and furious. He demanded the chemist's incomplete potion, but Singed warned him that the results would be unpredictable. Ignoring his friend's warning, Warwick drank the concoction. The brew transformed him into a creature both man and wolf, infusing him with raw strength and heightened senses. Exhilarated, he immediately began testing his newfound power. Each day his instincts became sharper, but his human half slipped further away. He could feel himself losing control: though he always got his prey, he often failed to bring them back alive. Now he seeks the blood of Soraka to stabilize his transformation before his mind gives way to the feral urges of the beast.
"Eventually the beast catches up with all of us."

-Great jungler and solo laner due to high sustain
-Natural life steal from his Q and passive
-Amazing chaser with his E and Ult
-Viable as AP aswell (relies on Q damage)
-Awesome Ult
-Granny skin FTW

-Somewhat mana starving
-Hard to gank without Ult (when jungling)
-No escape mechanisms
-Long cooldowns early game

Like I said before, Warwick has no escape mechanisms, so taking flash is always viable, Jungling or Laning.

IGNITE is essencial when laning! If your opponent is getting away low hp and you don't have your ult yet (or it is on cooldown) you can just ignite and walk away like a BOSS.
ALTERNATIVE SPELLS

Exhaust is a nice spell because it might grant you a kill (instead of using ignite) but since Warwick already has such great chasing qualities, I don't think you really need it.

Teleport is normally used by top laners so they can always get back to lane fast and help other lanes quickly. You CAN take it (especially if you're against your counter) so you guarantee you wont loose your lane.

It's basically a "drain" ability.

Your skill priority will always be R
Infinite Duress > Q
Hungering Strike > W
Hunters Call > E
Blood Scent
You should always max your Q in lane, whether you are AP or AD, it gives you sustain, and you can use it to harass the opponent. But don't spam it though, you'll lose all mana quickly.

THIS IS NOT AN AP BUILD, the reason why i start with doran's ring is because of WW early mana starvation and his Q scaling off ability power (which you will be maxing first). With the nerfs on Doran's Shield, I decided to start going with the Ring, it always worked for me, but if you still feel safer taking the Shield, take it

This will make chasing EVEN easier for WarWick! It also gives you the health(and damage)that you need so no one can kill you.

The BotRK will make you a sustain monster in lane. Bonus life steal and attack speed, combined with the active that steals hp and slows, combined with your ult which also steals hp, it's GG for them.

In season 3 I didn't do this item because I thought it didn't pay off, but now it has become really viable, it improves your lifesteal, the healing from your Q, healing from your passive, AND the healing from your ULT. get it.

This is normally where people dont agree with me, "JaayD, if you already have a million life steal and natural sustain, why more?" Well, because more is better! I mean, if they don't CC you, you can go through their whole team in the Team fight just slicing them open, they will be forced to focus you and your carries will wreck them.

I like to belive this is an utility item, because besides giving you armor/hp its passive is amazing against ADcarries and auto-attackers(Olaf, Master Yi, etc), if they hit you, they're slowed and get their attack speed reduced.
Other Viable Items

If you feel like you're not tanky enough (or you are dying a lot) feel free to get a Warmog instead of a Randuin's

Again, if you feel like you're dying a lot dont hesitate in doing it.
