Simple Reason:

It´s the Sololane with the strongest 1 Vs 9 Champs in the Game. I also call Top the Duell Lane, because Top is about fighting 1 VS 1 in Close Combat (Most of the Time) trying too predict Ganks, trying too make calls with Herald or Support with an surprising Teleport your Bot Lane.

A Good Top Laner can carry the Game just from Top.
A Bad Top Laner will loose the Game from Top.

Can you tell why this Team lost ?

Gold should be spread across the Team, not your K/D/A matters in a Ranked, it´s if you Won the Game or if you didn´t!

As Example, the hecarim and the le blanc are both good Players and have an high amount of Kills and nearly any Deaths, but their Top and ADC lack on Gold (low Farm, less kills) if the Hecarim wouldn´t have stolen that many kills (Just Secure them) the ADC or Illaoi would have been stronger and would have done more Damage in the Teamfights.

Just think about Garen and La Blanc fighting, Le Blanc has no Flash and no Dash after an Teamfight => Garen will kill her because she is a low HP Target and maybe even the villian. Furthermore when Le Blanc dies early, then is there no AP Caster or Assasin too shut the ADC Down and if that one can Positioning himself right, he easily oneshots Sona or Caitlyn.

Team 2 lost the Teamfight hard and probably loose the Game after such an Fight.

Can you tell why they won this Time?

They all spread the Gold across the Team and they catched some Enemies as a Group, wich gave them a massive Gold Lead thanks too the assists even way more worth the creeps they missed!

Now that Illaoi has some Gold she can buy even more Tank Items too survive even longer in Teamfights. Now Illaoi can protect the low HP Targets quite a while from Garen before she gets down, in the Meantime Caitlyn and Sona killed Jhin and Tham Kench, while Le Blanc nuked Ahri.

Unluckily for Team 2: Garen had 2 Seconds too recover his HP and made a fast Pentakill, while no Tank is here too be shredded first too buy some Time, noone could save them from this Spinning Warrior!
