Introduction

I very recently started playing Xayah with my friend. He played Rakan, I played Xayah. We played 9 of those games in our provisionals ranking at a final rank of Gold 5 and Gold 3. But normally neither of us plays bot lane. I usually play jungle, and he usually plays Mid. It's now been 8 days since my provisionals and I've climbed up to Gold 2 ever since. But as me and my friend played more and more we we're wondering: 'why not play ADC and Support this entire season?' And you know what why not? So I decided to learn a few more ADC champs such as Tristana and Twitch, the two I thought have an easier learning curve than ADC's like Vayne. So here is my guide to a tilt proof season with Xayah.

Why play Xayah?

Most ADC's can work OK with most supports. But some have really good synergy just by coincidence. But what if a support and an ADC we're made to have synergy. Also perfect synergy. As a Xayah you always have a perfect engage with Rakan. And with Rakan you gain amazing pushing power. But that's not all, because not many ADC's have such an amazing escape like Xayah and such a quick hard CC. And on top oif that her learning curve is very small. A player with 50 games on Xayah will preform almost as well as a player with 200 games on Xayah. And with all that League is no fun without friends, so tell your frienbd to learn Rakan and Duo Queue you way up the ladder.

What if I don't have a Rakan!?

Guess what, Xayah actually doesn't get too much from having a Rakan. Although the joined recall does help, the only other buff she has is Rakan getting her W effects when he is nearby. But that only gives you pushing power. One may argue that without the built in perfect synergy, Xayah does not need Rakan to hard carry. But having a Rakan is definitely nice.

Farming and CS

Some base standards I like to set for myself (Gold 2):
20 Min- 160 CS
25 Min- 200 CS
30 Min- 250 CS
35 Min- 300 CS
40 Min- 350-400 CS (Depends on amount of fights breaking out)

Late game

Team fights are great for Xayah. But she need an engage to deal damage. Once she gets a good engage she can get off a 5 man root with ease. And getting your damage to the back line is not an issue at all. Your passive helps that the most, but other than that you are still a squishy ADC that all Tanks and Assassins are just looking for the chance to kill you. So make sure you R is up, if it isn't up then I would recommend waiting more patiently and perhaps cleaning up after the major fight.

Plays with Rakan

Allow Rakan to hide behind a wall or hidden in the fog of war. Then pretend you are alone and slowly bait the enemy into a bad fight. Then allow Rakan to E to you then W the enemy knocking them both up. By then you should have moved in and gotten a Q-Auto-E and root at least one person. Then both you and Rakan should advance forward dealing damage and dodging abilities. Once done Rakan can recast E to dash back to safety.

Rakan can charm many people with his R. Help him do so by staying near the action in a team fight allowing him to dash fast to you as an escape. If he does so only use your R as an escape, not damage.
