Xin zhao is a champ most usually played jungle, but top is a great place for him due to his high damage allowing him to get kills early and roam to get the team ahead. This guide will look at how to play him, items and other things.

You want to trade as much as you can level 1. E into the enemy before the minions get their so you wont take as much damage from them, get the HOB proc and back off. Trade whenever HOB comes of cooldown. The sweet spot for the level two all in is at 40% health, as they will still feel strong enough to stay in lane to cs. Get level 2 first and immediately engage. You should be able to get the three autos off, knockup and ignite. They should die or at least burn flash. Rinse and repeat for at least 10 minutes until fed.

Try to roam mid and invade with your jungler. As Xin drops of fairly hard late game, you need to try to get your teammates ahead. Once you've taken first turret is generally the best time to start roaming immediately from fountain. Be their for teamfights and try to assassinate the enemy squishes.
