Learn to play Yasuo, use one of these builds dependent on the situation... profit! In order to be successful with Yasuo, you need to do 3 things. 1) Master landing his Q, which delivers all your damage/poke/chase/kite and allows you to ult independent of your team comp. 2) Learn to think ahead when using his E. You need to map out an attack path, an escape path, and save your last E for hitting an enemy champion to deliver maximum damage. This is mostly used for lane phase, however, it is also good for chasing or diving enemy teams. Don't simply use his E to engage, you also need an escape path! 3) Coordinate your ult properly, do not simply unleash whirlwind and follow up with an ult. You can use your whirlwind repeated to chase and harass, and ult when you want to secure a kill or delay an enemy escape. In team fights, you won't need an ally champion to do knock ups for you. Also, remember that your ult will hit the first enemy knocked up, so if you launch your Q, wait for it to hit the back lines and ult then in order to reach enemy carries.
Runes: For runes; magic resist, armor, and crit damage are solid choices. However, you can also use lifesteal quints along with crit damage seals for a little more sustain.
