People Saying Yasuo Top is Hard or even Unplayable, supporting with Difficult match ups and Top Lane Characteristic all of that are true and make perfect sense. Playing Yasuo Top You need to have good Knowledge in every single match up specifically. it's require me 500k of Mastery Point only on ranked as top lane alone to keep my consistency in acceptable level, and 300k more to be actually "good" and achieve 60-65% win rate in Platinum match up. Playing Yasuo in Top lane is completely different from Playing him Mid, you cannot expecting good result in Top lane just because you are good on playing him in mid lane, you basically have to learn your Yasuo all over again again in order to success as Top laner Yasuo.

Just like every difficult champ, after you get the hang of it, understand few playstyles and laning for each key match up archetypes, Yasuo Top become a lot easier to play and most importantly to learn next step and get even better. Some match up like Darius, Riven etc. might have very specific out play move you need to perform you will have rough time learning it but for me it's worth the fun and how much potential Yasuo can provide you once you master him. People are also overlook his ability to safe farm under turret and his wave clear capability which is very important for wave controlling/management in Top lane. Yasuo's Split push might be not a Top Tier but definitely not bad, he can put huge amount of pressure and can survive, outplay or at least trade kills when he get gank while splitpushing, his fast wave clear + how impactful of his Teleport give me so many wins. Combine this with his Wall Dashes after you master it, give you a lot of map control than you have as mid/no TP Yasuo.

It's True that Yas Top is Hard but it's not impossible, you just need to give him Tries, and re-learn him as Top laner. Yasuo Top and Yasuo Mid are almost completely different Champs. But the same thing is when you mastered him, he pay you off so much. Offensive play might be his characteristic which might be not always good in Top lane, his defensive play and under turret farm are sometime what you have to do. His Splitpushing and Map pressure may be stronger than you realize. Yasuo if Champion of possibility, one's playstyle might be different from another, Try him by yourself find your own "Yasuo Top" build your own playstyle create your own couterplay for each match up. Yasuo Top now is hard, but you just need to spend times on it.
