Amanda, I like the second one, but don't like the first one. I think the splash art is what I don't like o.o The second one with the lovely lights and the text you chose is quite nice.
I think I need to lurk around here more, I've been letting myself get a bit stale in terms of creativity.
Either way, since last year, I've joined an X-Men themed roleplaying forum and I've been getting much more into photomanipulation for avatars and signatures. Some stuff below:

Another OC called Victor Mars (hydrokinetic):
A gender-crossed Copycat:
An OC for someone else, Hothead:
Another OC for someone else, Ghost:
I find doing these mostly relaxing :P
