so you're basically insinuating that pro teams are just ******ed in thinking shyv is good/cant deal with it because they are bad. ok
Gold ELO sees it all.

But for now I really think that, actual toplaners and amount of CC kills Shyv.
Back about two seasons ago Shyvana dominated top lane as well and now theres virtually no difference if you take out Skirmishers Sabre and Smite, which everyone else is getting so it cancels out.
Her kit is deceptively powerful, the problem is nobody can remember how to use it.
Basically MOBAFire.
Shyv is decent at any elo, and just ridiculously strong in competitive. Shyv has been strong since she became a staple pick, just less prominent when other champions became more common. Also. she's nearly identical to how she was back in Season 4, now she's just an amazing duelist. People somehow forget that she has been pretty much untouched, and people forget that you can flank. But, Heca is just funnier and borderline broken.

What's so special about those picks? Trundle has been played. Fizz has been played. Rek top has been played. Naut top isn't complete unknown. Yes, people haven't used smite on them, but for a reason. None of them have a reliable escape, and Fizz doesn't benefit from Cinderhulk. There's a reason Irelia hasn't be used with Cinderhulk. All of those are either pocket picks, specific picks, or just less common. He won't play half of these champions unless they plan around it. Second, many of those are just plain stupid. There's a reason why people don't run Smite on every top laner.
