Never said he was a good pusher. His ult outranges towers. Get some CDR and AD on him and you have a super backdoor champ right there. 45 seconds between 7 tower shots that doesn't include the time that it takes for minions to push to a tower.

Urgot only beats melee in lane because of the slowing effect his shield gives.
