agreed, actually. i almost always get merc treads on my carries, unless they have almost no cc, or im playing a champ that can never have enough AS. which is pretty much non existant.

Reason I'm QQing is that this site is promoting people to suck, with so many builds using PDs. No ranked 5v5 (mid-high elo) will ever see a phantom dancer built. I would like to see better team players when they hit level 30, not people who know how to pubsmack.. People that visit this site just go to champions, then look at the highest-rated build. A lot of them have PDs in them, most of them never work against good teams.
To respond to activating items, it's EZ! I don't see why people can't just change their hot keys on their 6th item slot to "t" then press it when they need it. Ghostblade gives you a mini ghost and it's just a better item overall.
@JunSupport PD's don't work on Jax, because Jax doesn't work. Easily shut down in 5v5s much like Tyran. Anyway a good Jax will never build a PD, he only needs his Counter Strike passive and Ninja Tabi to be succesful, after that Bloodthirster, followed by tanky items like Randuin's, Atma's, Banshee's. Then a Ghostblade.

Please read the 3rd post. I explain how there are much better, cheaper subsitutes for PD's. Phreak agrees with me as he said so on his live stream. No good player buys a PD.

It IS however, a highly situational item. It gives no AD, so most people don't take it. Madred's is a much better option IMO. BUT. It can be exactly what people are looking for. I know a lot of people that do not even PLAY ranked, much less use phantom. It is an uncommon item because the stats it gives is situational. Very few champs use this item effectively. GP is great with PD. Tryn is decent with PD. most champs, however, i agree are bad with this item. People just like it because they see AS and crit and dodge and MS and they get a hard on. Not my item, but it doesnt suck because people don't use it in high elo.

As for eve, i agreed with PFP until about 2 days ago. One of my new ranked buddies mains eve in ranked games, and has a 92% win rate with her. the eve is in his top 4 played out of about 15, and he is over 1500 elo. Not necessarily high elo, but he used eve not in low elo, but instead used him from mid 1300's to mid 1500's. Eve is viable, just ****in hard as hell to play. LoL is more balanced than people give it credit for. Saying LoL is IMBA is like saying pokemon is IMBA. [yes i am an avid poke nerd]
What im trying to say is, Every champion has severe weaknesses, as well as incredible strengths. Eve is generally hard to play and often considered useless, but is one of the best counter jungles in the game. Garen has an amazing early game, easily considered the BEST early game, but unless he gets fed by noobs, his lategame lacks the major damage that is needed from a tank. Not to say he isnt a very solid champion, but he is easily countered assuming you stay away from judgement. Even the OPest of champs are counterable. Vlad dies to [of all people] Morde. Amumu dies to focus. Tryn dies to exhaust ignite. Sona just dies. All the people that everyone QQs about, are easily counterable. This is why i like draft mode in ranked. if you know your matchups, counterpicking is easy. which makes the game more fun IMO. the only REAL problem is that no one knows good garen counters. good garen counter? taric or sion. Why? because they ahve a reliable stun, as well as a way to put out some serious damage. garen may be a little OP, but he isnt IMBA. Going back to pokemon, there are always going to be tiers, but just because there are tiers doesnt mean you cant win with lower tier characters. I play chogath all the time with great success, its just that people suck with rupture and don't know how to build him. simple as that. /eve rant

He's still a bit broken right now, but his E-relies on dodge chance.
Dodge runes + Ninja Tabi + 1 PD = win.
He just needs a Guinsoo's between Tabi and PD and all other items can be enemy-counters. =P
