Tricking the enemies is all fine and dandy, but the long range flash is what bothers me
Yeah, you have a point.
They will likely reduce the range of the clone OR the range you can swap with your clone. The clone can travel MUCH too far for it to be instant swap as it is now.

I've never thought of using Deceive and staying in the same spot. That's bloody brilliant! Definitely have to remember to try that next time I play Shaco.
It only works against good teams though. Won't work against ******s who are like "HURR WHERE'D HE GO"

I'm loving the One Piece reference, I think that would be a cool feature for shaco. Maybe I'm just bad with but I'm feeling he needs a little buff or some kind of change, he can't do a whole lot with the current meta.

Dis is like Silhouette ult now from HoN :O
Love how I always make these HoN comparisons.

Thanks to TRUeLM, Plastictree, Scrax, Xiaowiriamu, foggy12, JahGFX, jhoijhoi, msrobinson, JEFFY40HANDS, Nyoike, MissMaw, and me :) for the sigs!
I'd really love this addition. So many uses <3
In terms of "knowing which one is the real one" it's often not that easy if the Shaco is any good. Unless Shaco has a red/blue buff or the attacker has a constant AoE so he can tell, that the image takes double damage, good Shaco players can simply play their tricks.
Most people in my normal games assume, that the Shaco that moves first after mirroring, is the real one. If you simply press "R" and then "Alt + Rightclick", they very often chase the wrong one. Same goes for Leblanc, although it's way harder to pull that off with her since you don't trigger the image manually.
My Favorite tricks:
- Deceiving on spot (Like someone mentioned already - staying in the bush)
- Running towards a wall but NOT deceiving over it
- Dodging with R

"I'd love to write a guide about 'getting out of elo hell', but I can't find a way to get in there.."
That's really the first thing I check against a Shaco. Buffs and items are too easy to overlook IMO.
Sig courtesy of GrandmasterD. Go get your own sig from them. :D
If that new ult upgrade on shaco would be implemented, it would be a juker's ****** and IMHO it would make that clown a little more OP (if farmed and played right) even in ranked games... I suggest to Riot that instead of making it like the ult of that silhouette character just like in HoN, make it work like Morphling's (of DOTA) instead where the illussion would be gone leaving the Joker to be easily spotted and maybe to decrease the duration of his illusion...
