[/quote] With ahri, I obviously max q first, and then I like to leave 1 point in w at level 4, and then rank up charm to level 3, and then max w, and then finish maxing charm. That way, my charm isn't a ministun midgame anivia-level wall at 4 annie- max w cass- if you're playing a passive lane, max q. if you're going hard in the paint, max e. Also, I max q if i'm against someone I can't outtrade, like old ryze. I haven't played cass in a while, but when I want to keep my distance from, say, ahri, swain, diana, i max q veigar- I max q as fast as possible, and I put a point in stun at level 2 and meteor at level 4, and then at level 8 I put another point in stun, and then max meteor, leaving stun at level 2 vladimir- I think you'd be making a mistake. xerath- E[/quote]

But I'd rather just go for 19 magic pen in runes to get my early game magic pen. Go home, get catalyst and sorc shoes, and then you deal true damage to your lane opponent. The way I play AP trist lategame is this. First, I assess who's the biggest threat to our team. Most of the time it's the adc, and sometime's it's a morgana, or another mage. I stay out of the teamfight as it starts. Once it starts going, I'll do my full combo on the threat, killing them instantly. At that point, I can either jump out, or jump on more people in the teamfight. I typically won't jump on more people unless it will secure me a kill. The last place you want to be in a teamfight is in the middle of their bruisers with your jump on cooldown, especially if you're the fed one and they're targeting you. If you can jump into the teamfight and insta-gib their fed adcarry at the cost of your life, do it. it's worth it.[/quote]
