The random generation was great in D3. Torchlight 1(haven't played 2 obviously.) has terrible random generation in comparison, IMO. "good, but repetitive" a.k.a. terrible I also didn't play Diablo 3 more than once. I played through the story, and got to 60 to see all the abilities of my class. In D3, like he said, there are 6 buttons and each button has 4 possible skills with 5 possible runes each. However, in the options menu you can activate an option to allow you to choose whatever skill you want in each button. The option used to be a bit hidden (I only found it when I was lvl 40), but now it's much more obvious and they bring it to your attention in the tips. The rest of his critique, with the exception of the always online thingy, was really about these types of games in general, it applies as much to D3 as it applies to Torchlight 2 or D2. Hack & Slash games are based on grinding and farming and that's what people want in these games. Obviously not everyone will like the genre.[/quote]

I'm just gonna flat out say this; there was no random generation in D3. It wasn't there. The RG in TL1 is good, the RG in TL2 is better. The RG in D1 is good, The RG in d2 is better. The RG in D3? WHAT RANDOM GENERATION. And Canoas. You're slightly more mentally damaged than Temzilla (shocker..) The game was bad, because everything in it was bad. I never stated "Diablo 3 is a bad game because it's a bad game." I listed the things in the game that were bad, that added together, ruined the game's entirety. I played and beat D3. there is no point of playing harder difficulties. I sold my account 3 days after launch to a friend for 25$ and I was done with it. [/quote] I got 1 character, a barbarian to 60, i started grinding LEVELS, NOT GEAR, in Act 2 hell, because the monsters were level 55 and i was level 45, also you need to be 60 to start inferno, which i only completed Act 1 of. The random generation in D3 makes it so you can't walk through the same dungeon every reroll, but it looks familiar, it is a lot better imo than D2's "oh hey look, a cave!". D3 has a much more rich setting than fields and caves the entire game. I'm not saying that D3 is good, but it's bad for WAY different reasons than this idiot reviewer brings up.
