Yet another easy victory thrown away. Our bot lane was completely useless ( Varus had terrible positioning and would get deleted almost immediately and Anivia wasn't a huge asset either). I got super fed against one of my biggest counters but there was little I could do in teamfights (I ran up to Ashe but it was only me and Elise focusing her). Anyway, frustrating game...

EDIT: Fun fact! Ashe dealt 100,000 damage that game. She literally, 1 vs 5 our entire team. I dealt 50,000 and Nidalee dealt around 60,000.

Not meant to be a douche, but just looking at the screenshot I feel like there's so much more you could've done to win the game. Just for starters, have a look at your build and perhaps reconsider some things. E.g. Thornmail would be a clearly superiour option to Frozen Mallet in a game where Ashe literally 1v5's. Getting Zephyr instead of boots is also a kinda awkward thing to do on a melee champion because you rely so much on your movement speed to get your kills.

And you had quite a good pokey comp, but i'm pretty sure you didn't used it ^^'
Also, you say noone but Elise and you were on Ashe, but you do realize that Varus and Anivia can't walk up to her, totally ignore Darius, Yi, Khartus and start attacking Ashe, right ?

Wow, that's incredibly low. That's what I was paid in my second last year of high school. Is that a standard wage?

Australians make more money in their own currency on average, which is why our stuff is more expensive. Their wages are adjusted to their prices and standard of living. Cans of drink are about a dollar in the U.S, where as they're about $2.5 -- $3.0 here.

Yeah the same in Finland. The country is so expensive but the wages are pretty high as well.

bahahahahahahaha. That's $2.75/hour (and $2/hour more than the two jobs I had before that) more than I was being paid at the job I had before this (the federal minimum wage here in the US, which is what I was being paid at my last job, is $7.25/hour and ND hasn't increased it the way some states have). Actually, this is the most I've ever been paid per hour at a job, ever, and as far as things go around here, it's considered pretty good pay. Especially when you consider that I haven't even worked at this business a month yet. The US just doesn't believe in paying their workers well — people are afraid of paying more for things — and it's usually an argument every time anyone wants to raise the minimum wage (before I moved SD wanted to raise theirs, for example, and my dad was pretty against it) because people seem to hold the opinion that people who work without a degree are lazy and stupid and don't deserve to get paid enough to actually, you know, live. I wouldn't actually be able to live alone on what I get paid, even if I worked full time (35+ hours/week), unless I was willing to live in a pretty terrible place to live.

Also, with the exchange rate as is between the AUD and the USD (though it's likely changed since the time you worked, we'll go with this), I'm getting paid roughly $3/hour more than you would've been getting paid when you were in HS, just saying.

My first job I was at $6.50/hr when I was 12. Then $9/hr in year 11 (age 16). Then $15/hr first year of university (age 18). Then $25/hr in childcare in my last year of uni. Then $70/hr relief teaching last year. Now $45/hr full-time teaching, including paid holidays (age 24).

Even if your point is that you were paid $3 more than me when I was 16, I'm not really seeing why that is a good point to make. I think the American pay system sucks :/ Especially if you say you couldn't afford to live in a nice play working full time at that wage.

In Australia there is a minimum wage and it increases based on age. Of course it also depends on the job you have.

Oh, I wasn't trying to make a point there, it was just a comment. The US is full of cheapskates who don't want the cost of things to go up, end of story. The minimum wage only increases above the federal rate if a state decides to raise it (or they decide to raise the federal minimum wage, which is being pushed by many people), and everyone gets paid at least the same minimum wage per hour regardless of age. You can always get a job that pays more, but the minimum wage is static. For example, I worked at a restaurant in Rapid City and my 15 and 16 year old coworkers were getting paid just as much as I was ($8/hour). If you think this is bad, you should read about how working as a waiter/waitress works. They get paid a much lower wage because they get tips, you know. The business does have to compensate them if they don't make at least the minimum wage per hour with their tips, but that's all they have to do as far as I know.

That's why people in foreign countries hate Finnish people - we never tip. We have never had a habit of tipping since people get paid to do their work. "Thank you" is more than enough for a Finnish waiter/waitress. :)
