If you want a clean render of a splash art, you can normally find them through Google or on DeviantArt. As it's a fairly new skin, there isn't one out yet. Someone will make one soon. I used to render my sigs when I first started, but now I'm lazy. There's rarely an effect I want to use that requires a render. As for tips with Photoshop, I HIGHLY recommend https://www.youtube.com/user/bluelightningtv/videos - Marty, the VO, takes time to explain the function of tools and walk you step by step through effects. Some videos are meh, as I'm not interested in the theme discussed, but every video I watch, I learn something new :) Enjoy!
