Top Image: Try a light blue (like his hand) colour for the text with a black shadow (the shadow is green rn)
Bottom Image: Red (like his shirt) text with beige (like the border) shadow.
Not sure how those would look but I suggest ya try it out if it's not too much work, I *think* it'll be better.
