The only reason I asked whether guides should be submitted here or not is because of the amount of people posting them here induced me in error. People, read the bloody rules (like I should've)!

Deleted a bunch of posts with guide links. I'm glad you guys are excited for the contest, but you don't need to link your guide in this thread. Just be sure to update your guide throughout the coming month and it'll be entered automatically.
I would consider Pantheon mid a pretty standard strategy. The winner of the Most Fun category will probably be for something a little more unusual.
For guides that cover multiple roles, assuming one is good enough to be selected as a winner, it will only win one category as determined by the judges. Generally this would be whichever role the guide covers the best (so if the top lane judge is impressed with your info on top lane, it would be selected to win that category). If you somehow managed to equally impress all the judges with a multi-role guide (frankly a tough challenge), the category would be determined by which of the runner-up guides is the weakest.
Whatever gets us the best possible guides for each role is how we'll resolve ties, basically.

If my guide qualifies for two winning categories, which one is selected? I assume the most "meta" one will be picked. So if a guide is say,
Pantheon Mid then "Fun Guide" is selected over "Mid Lane Guide" because no one in their right mind would seriously consider him Mid Lane (a.k.a., it makes no sense it terms of meta)?

I got some questions regarding the contest, what If my build contains multiple roles, like I for example play Teemo in mid or jungle as well. Mainly top so for now it's set as top but it used to have some info about midlane and jungle as well. Also do we enter the contest automatically or do we have to leave a comment or such?

Thanks to Minho for the sig!

So something a little more standard despite being unorthodox such as Mid Zilean or Jungle Teemo would just go in the their labled category while something completely out there like Mid Lane Soraka, Jungle Tahm Kench or Ivern Top would be in the "Fun" category?
Noob Zilean, Rammus and Kled trio main that loves to cause mischeif, mostly plays mid, top or support (practising Jungle). Also play Veigar, Vel'Koz, Thresh, Amumu, Fizz and Tahm Kench. I also dabble in random heroes that hit the free rotation that pique my interest.
Going mid as a support with ignite is more fun and effective than I ever imagined!

@ Vapora Dark richboi
Jesus f*cking Christ, WHY do people skip reading the bloody rules? This is both hilarious and frustrating to see.

Just to clarify, I have a few questions:
1) Has the contest for Season 8 updates/new guides started? (aka has the 30-day deadline started yet?)
2) Do we post updates/new guides for Season 8 somewhere or are all eligible updates/guides automatically entered?
3) If I apply my guide for Rune Reforged update gift ($10 RP), is it still eligible for Season 8 update contest?
Thanks.

1) Yes, this thread marks the beginning of the contest.
2) All eligible guides are automatically entered. You don't need to post it anywhere.
3) Yep, you can apply for the giveaway without affecting your eligibility for the contest.
@ Re4XN Removed that image from your post as we do have rules regarding adult content, sorry.
Also deleted some more posts with guide links. Guys, you don't need to post your guide here to enter it!
