You already know that you got to add some meaningful notes to the cheat sheet, but I have some more nitpicks: your build against heavy AP doesn’t contain Zhonya's Hourglass, but in the notes of that build it mentions that it does? Also, I don’t like the use of set groups. They don’t really add that much (unless builds in the different groups are vastly different) and they take up a LOT of space. You don’t have to separate stuff like starting items / example builds & viable items. If you really want to use them you can put the tank builds & AP builds in different groups though.

One more tiny nitpick: Your ability order is called “skill sequence”. Although this is pretty hilarious I’m sure you can write something more Galio related there :p Personally I think a pros and cons section should be an objective analysis of the strengths & weaknesses of a champion. Now, of course you can make a troll reference here and there but stuff like “Galio is amazing and he hulk smash the enemy team wohoo” doesn’t really tell someone what Galio is good at (your first note is “great AP & MR ratio’s”, well duh, otherwise you wouldn’t build AP on him, this is simply what makes him an AP champ). So, what is it what makes Galio a good champion ? And what are his weaknesses? First of all, the passive doesn’t have a video. You also mention that the passive can crit for some reason. Although this is a fun fact, I don’t think it should be in the ability description since no one is going to play crit Galio.

The W description is really chaotic. First you go over the ability, then you list the passive and THEN you list the video. I would definitely put the video after the ability description and put the passive description before the ability description. The description also mentions twice that the W damage depends on the charge time (at the end of the first cast & second cast paragraph).

In the W tips you say “Try to charge it as much as possible because the difference between a tap W and charged W is quite large” I understand what you mean here, but perhaps you should say “because the longer you charge it, the more damage and CC will be applied” as a reason rather than “its better when its charged”.

Now last but not least, aesthetics of this section. I am not sure about having the tips in spoilers, but alright, I’ll take it. However, I would definitely try to make sure that the circles with “Passive”, “Q” etc stay at the top of the table/column/whatever it is. The content in this section is alright buuut… Are you sure about your color choice? The theme of Galio’s icons is blue / white / yellow and the borders you use are red. I feel like the borders jar a lot with the icons. Are you completely happy with how it looks? You hesitantly mention Demolish in the Shield Bash description. However, you mention that it is good against roaming assassins when you are “too weak or behind to follow their roams”. You can’t know that in champ select, so when should you take this rune? In this case it seems like a “lose less” rune rather than a “win more” rune so I’m not certain whether it should be taken at all.

You start the Bone Plating description with Conditioning. I would switch the order and say that Bone Plating should be taken against poke champs/hard matchups (but poke champs have a real easy time proccing it and then waiting & poking again once the effect expires, not sure about that?). Then you can mention that if you don’t need Bone Plating, take Conditioning or something like that.

In your to-do list, you say you’ll remove the “bad” rune choices, I assume Revitalize is also one of those.

You made a big-*** circle around Electrocute as well as making it larger and in the description you talk about… Dark Harvest and Hail of Blades? In the zombie ward/ghost poro/eyeball collection you mention the latter giving adaptive force, this is not necessary as all three of those runes give adaptive force.

I’d argue for the effectiveness of Ultimate Hunter on Galio. Since the cooldown on his ult is so high, wouldn’t it be a good option in some cases?

Then… Summon Aery. Not only is the keystone very weird, you only take it into Irelia and Riven. This is so niche that I would refrain from mentioning this in your runes section and just mention it in the matchup section. Right now it takes up a **** ton of space for very little information.

Last but not least, your secondary runes. Right now you simply list a couple of runes and why they are good. Try to explain WHEN to take a certain rune tree. If I wanted to go into game right now and I had to choose my secondary runes, your guide wouldn’t be that helpful :(
From an aesthetics perspective I would only put the viable runes in rows here, now you simply show the rows the runes are in which makes it a bit hard to decipher what the viable runes are looking at the images alone (e.g. sometimes you do mention other runes in those rows, sometimes you do not). This may seem really lazy from my side, but truth is, the rest of your guide is really solid. You explain the different item options very well (aside from not mentioning certain item options that are present in the cheat sheet, even worse, you don’t mention any tank itemization in your midlane items at all. That was in your to-do list though)

Your combo section looks clean and besides showcasing the combo’s you also explain in what cases you use them. Props to that.

Now, one more note on aesthetics. You got chapters & sections. Now both are divided by the same banners (REEE). For example first backs/essential items/starting items are sections of the itemization chapter. It’s as if you titled your combo’s with banners!

I am a sadsandra main since Galio indeed does have the lane priority in the Lissandra matchup.

I will end this review with some tips on how to implement changes since you already got a pretty sizeable to do list (which isn’t updated in the guide itself, I’m basing myself off the image you sent in discord).

• Update your guide throughout changes, yes you can fix all of it in one go but some changes have a higher priority than others
• Start with the easiest & most important things, these are:
  • Cheatsheet
  • Runes
  • Items
• Design changes must take place before new content, you don’t want to redesign new content (unless you already implemented the new design in the content)
• Matchups chapters take a very long time to make (also causes brain damage), avoid writing all the matchups in one go and take like 5 at a time.
• Gameplay section content arguably has the lowest priority since there are tons and tons of stuff you can add and you can also make it as large (or small) as you want. Overall this content can take some time to develop both because you need to convey the right message as well as find a design that fits.

Okay so, first of all I don’t really like the way you did with the notes of your runes and stuff. It’s not really going to be all that helpful for readers to know that “more information is explained in the runes section” ‘cause the “notes” are there to give necessary information to readers that need said information fast, most people won’t have enough time to scroll through the guide to check for information before their game starts, that part is for readers that has much more time on their hands. You did a much better job with the way you did the summoner spells.

I would assume recommend to make a way of what rune page are good into what matchups, when should I use Aftershock + Sorcery page and when can Precision or Domination be a better option?

As for the items in the cheatsheet, I like the way they are, really organized and looks nice, but again with the notes. They’ll be able to clear up a lot of confusion about the builds & the supposedly “Other Viable Items” where you have no clue when you can go for a Dead Man's Plate or when Frozen Heart is a good option.

Matchups, see the kind of pattern I mean here? :p There’s no reason to have a “See Matchups section below for more details” as it isn’t useful at all. You could for this section, either put those matchup threats into it so that there are information for each matchup. Or you can remove it entirely and save the synergies but put them into your guide just in another section, where you could possible make use of some coding / formatting to make it look neat. Jhoijhoi shows some good templates for things like that in her guide about how to make a guide.

I bet for this section you can probably fit in a lot more tips, I’m sure there are plenty of uses for Galio’s abilities to think about! :o


Summoner Spells

I think the Galio icon in between the summoners is quite unnecessary, might just be me though but I feel like galio is already displayed really well from the images at the side, so only have the summoner icons there would make it look really neat by itself.


Runes (In General)

I would avoid mentioning runes and/or keystones that aren’t useful for Galio, like for example in the aftershock description where you mention Guardian / Grasp, if you don’t pick them then there’s no reason to talk about them. The images are only there because the code is like that to look good, visually. :p

Maybe also avoid talking about what the runes give, since it’s just repeating the tooltip (unless you want to have it that way). But I would probably instead try to fit in a reason why this rune/keystone is going to help me, for example Electrocute would help a champion because it can aid them in an all-in and can often secure kills, but it’s also great for poking and trading in the lane (for example). Get what I mean?

I like the way you did the Runes section though, not too complicated but covers the essentials to optimization when it comes to Galio.


Items

Not really going to talk all that much about the items, you do go on about them a lot but it makes sense since there are a bunch of items to talk about (and you cover 2 separate roles). But I have some concerns.

I haven’t seen you cover some items in the guide, and some items that are in your guide aren’t in the cheatsheet etc.

Some I could find that you mention in your cheatsheet (For Midlane):

• Dead Man's Plate
• Iceborn Gauntlet
• Frozen Heart
• Randuin's Omen
• Warmog's Armor
• Thornmail
• Adaptive Helm

To finalize on this, if you have items in your cheatsheet that are good on Galio then they should be explained. If they aren’t good on him then you should remove them. I also don’t know if you want to cover First back items and/or boots but that’s your choice. Again, you mention a few of the items for Midlane in your support section since they are there as well, but some are left completely untouched which makes it confusing. Why is that there? When do I build it? Why do I build it? Do you get me, will leave that decision also up to you.


Matchups

I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to fit in some more matchups here, I bet there are some more Easy/Medium/Hard matchups for Galio. :p

As of this moment, your guide is really solid. If you only fix some of these points that I’ve made, I’m sure your guide will go really far. :)

Cheat Sheet:
Runes:

• You seem to have a preference for less than ideal rune combinations, which is fine for your play-style, but in my opinion the cheat sheet should focus on what's most ideal, unless you're making a very personalized guide. With this in mind, I'm going to recommend some changes.
• Demolish is great if you're confident you're going to win lane, and it's definitely great for snowballing, but Shield Bash would be the better option is more situations. It allows you to trade better, both in the damage it gives and the armor/mr that you get from it.
• Not sure if I would ever consider Conditioning as the default. Think of it this way, Bone Plating helps you win the early game, which can transition into a better mid to late game anyways. I would consider it against non-interactive lanes however.
• Since patch 9.14, Galio's mana issues have been significantly improved, and he no longer needs Manaflow Band. Consider taking Absolute Focus due to a lack of better options. since most of your damage is front loaded, Absolute Focus will give you value as you generally won't be going below 70% health until after your combo. As an added bonus, Absolute Focus can give you the tiny bit of AP to clear caster minions at level 9 with Winds of War.
• I would also recommend switching off of Attack Speed for obvious reasons.

Items:

• You can get 2 health potions with Doran's Ring.
• You can include a section for early game items, and have stuff like Dark Seal in there if you don't recall with enough gold for something like Hextech Revolver.
• Under STANDARD BUILD PATH, Void Staff is a significantly better option than Morellonomicon at that stage of the game, since most teams will have MR by then. If you need the healing reduction, you should have that much earlier in the game. Morellonomicon can be situationaly better as a damage option if they do not have any MR built.
• Under AGAINST HEAVY AP, you should be building either Banshee's Veil or Zhonya's Hourglass. Building both means you're losing out on a massive power-spike. You also don't need Abyssal Mask for MR. With Rabadon's Deathcap you're looking at almost 80% magic damage reduction with Shield of Durand, which is more than enough when utilized properly. Consider Rabadon's Deathcap and Void Staff for late game options.
• Under AGAINST HEAVY AD, Randuin's Omen has the same problems as Abyssal Mask, in which you would be gutting your late game because of it. You don't get nearly as much physical damage reduction from Shield of Durand, but between Ninja Tabi and Zhonya's Hourglass, you don't need that much of it, and 40% physical damage reduction is still massive. Rabadon's Deathcap and Void Staff are far better options for AP Galio.
• Ionian Boots of Lucidity is not a viable option. Your build already gives you 40% cdr without it.
• I don't think Galio has any viable tank items unless you're going tank Galio, but from what I gather, this is an AP build.
• Not a fan of VIABLE POTS N' TRINKETS, most of those belong elsewhere (like refillable potion under early game). Maybe just keep this section for trinkets.

Match-ups:

• I'm curious why you have match-ups in the cheat sheet, and match-ups its the guide itself, yet they seem separate and independent from each other.

Presentation:

• Nothing to complain about, guide was easy to read and no eyesore whatsoever.
• Runes and Items sections dragged on for too long. Consider if maybe you have too many unnecessary options in this sections.

Abilities:

• Shield of Durand's cooldown is listed incorrectly, I would double check this section to make sure it doesn't have any incorrect values. Alternatively, you don't need even need this section altogether, and can just merge the tips with the skill sequence.

Skill Sequence:

• Your skill order here doesn't match the cheat sheet.

Runes & Items:

• Most of my feedback for runes was mentioned earlier, also too many options.
• Sometimes it's best to take an armor shard or an mr shard against more difficult lane opponents for the early game, even if their team comp is well balanced.
• Since Galio's mini rework, you no longer buy oblivion orb and sit on it, CDR is now far more important

Laning Phase & Mid/Late Game:
I feel like these sections lack depth, and I think you can talk in-depth about some topics that could go well in these sections. Some things I would like to see included:

• How would a Galio look for favorable trades? You talk a lot about looking for trades as Galio, but how would one make those work? When is it a good opportunity? You can also talk about how with the right wave set-up you can use your minions to help get favorable trades as well.
• Mid and jungle synergy can be insane, yes Galio has strong gank set-ups, but there is more to it. I would like you to talk about translating mid lane priority into something meaningful for your jungler to help the get things done around the map.
• Roaming is another big topic, and it's very important for a lot of mid laners. Galio is no exception. Plenty to talk about here, how do you shove and roam? When can you roam? etc.
• Talking about how Galio can most efficiently and effectively wave clear can be very beneficial, and it's different at different stages of the early game.
• Why does it say Level 3 in early game as opposed to Level 3+, and why does it say Level 3 for mid/late game
• You talk about teamfighting but you don't talk about how Galio teamfights. There are multiple approaches to one for Galio. Same goes for split-pushing.
• Try proof-reading this chapter a little more, there are a couple of spelling errors like a mispelt Ignite.
