Yeah, I never delved into EXACTLY how each stance applies its damage. I typically put 5 points in tiger/bear/phoenix and 3 in Turtle. More DPS than OT really. And I get Gunblade after Triforce almost every time. It feels (if the AoE spellvamp was slightly higher than whatever it is) that Gunblade would be akin to the Innervating Locket before it was removed. Just sooo much LS and Spell Vamp going on with every attack pretty much. It's sexual tbh XD.
And I'm glad TriForce is still a solid option for phoenix stance. Udyr's such a fun versatile champ.

Trinity Force is viable. Not as ideal as on tiger Udyr, but viable as a 6th.

I'm pretty sure spell vamp only works on the waves of Pheonix, not the "3rd attack".

I call it "double dipping". The LS you get from AAs while you're also getting the Spellvamp from the magic damage you deal. It's an extremely efficient item for him, but it depends on your build. For me I'm slightly tanky with a lot of DPS Mercs/Triforce/Gunblade/QSS/Sunfire/Atmas or something along those lines.
