One of the questions I actually have is, why you want to skill deep into defense? Actually, the most high masteries in the defense tree are rather ****, if you compare them to offense.

I mean, you only want to get Resistance , Hardiness , Veteran's Scars , Initiator , Enlightenment and Juggernaut .

For that, in the offense tree, you can skill, depending onto if you are more AP( Mental Force , Sorcery, Arcane Knowledge , Blast , Archmage and Executioner ) or more AD( Brute Force , Alacrity , Weapon Expertise , (on some champs Deadliness + Lethality ), Vampirism , Sunder and Executioner ).

For me, defense doesn't seem to be worth it to skill more than 9 points into it.

What do you think?

10% CCR is ****ing amazing though.

If you build 3k-4k HP, that's 90-120 HP in one point of mastery. That's a REALLY GOOD COMBO LOL.

10% CCR and 90-120 HP for one point of mastery? Defense has perhaps the best T6 mastery of all.

And where are the wasted points?

Enlightenment is excellent, 8% CDR at lvl 18 is big time.

Initiator is strong. Vet scars...

Honor guard is good...

I don't see where the wasted points are o_O

Best case it's like we got 2.25 points in each of our tier 1 masteries for the price of 3 points in our tier 5 mastery. This is just gross, the numbers need to be higher.

Idc what they have to say about Honor Guard.

Reduction of damage is what you want on a tank.

People would also tell you armor blues and reds are bad, but I use them all the time.

If you're getting the T6 mastery in defence... you're probably a tank, just FYI.

If you're off-tanking (GP, Jarman, Irelia) then you'd take a 21/9/0 setup.
If you're full tanking, you take an X/21/X setup. (Maokai, Shen?, etc.)

EDIT: Honor Guard is better than Mercenary on solo-tops. Other way around on junglers though.

Naw I don't agree with that synopses.

The mastery trees are too crazy and customizable now.

You really can't say that a blanket 21/x/x mastery page would be better on any champion anymore.

All case by case now.
