Karma is outclassed by champs that were in the game since the beginning.

LMFAO

Dude, Karma is probably one, if not the, best support out there. No one plays her caus she's so damn hard to play. But god, oh god she's ****ing strong. Don't think that because she's not played, she suck. It's because she's so hard to play. People are lazy, that's why they stick with easy champ ( Brand, Annie, Caitlyn, Sona, Soraka, Morgana, etc. etc.).

She's underrated yet so powerful. Please don't assume she's bad simply because you never saw a good karma or just never saw her at all.

+rep me and you'll get good karma, wich means you won't be reincarnated into a rock! Isn't that awesome?

But yes this idea has been discussed more than Pam Anderson's tits in a plastic surgeons office.

I'm only kind of with fox on this one. Also depends on team though. Smart team will earn karma infinity assists and some kills. Dumb team makes karma useless all game. When being played support anyway.

Props to wRAthoFVuLK for the beastly sig and putting up with my request XD

I went against a good support karma + tf combo in botlane recently.

Soooooooo much kiting omg. It made me want to pick up karma for myself. I could see her doing really well with maybe an ashe or vayne.

Whoa, whoa, whoa there buddy. That's a pretty harsh assumption.

Karma is strong. While the only thing she lacks is an interrupt, this does not diminish her power.

Yes she has the "support" tag. But did you see that difficulty bar? Yea, didn't think so. Playing Karma is an art as well as rocket science. She fits any lane and does all jobs quite well.

I'm right along with Fox on this talk about Karma. A support if built as a support is only going to be as good as the rest of the team. Karma's unique skillset does give her a bit of a curve, but I didn't find it too hard to pick up on while I played her during a free week.

The main issue, I think most of us seem to agree, is that there is a large number of players out there who do not want to play in a support role. Hell, one of the guys I play arranged games with hates playing anything other than AP carry. These players want big damage, they want to see the kills stack up.

Karma does make a pretty good AP carry though. Super strong zoning monster pre-6.

That's not entirely true. Some champions are popular simply because they're some of the strongest picks in the game, regardless of difficulty ( Caitlyn, Sona and Soraka are all pretty damn good right now). If Karma really was the best support in the game, we'd be seeing her a lot more at the pro level. I'm not saying she's bad, because I've seen some pretty awesome Karma's, but I think there are better options for supports and AP carries. I think the reason she's unpopular does have to do with difficulty, but just because she's underrated doesn't mean she's more viable than anyone else.
Thanks to The_Nameless_Bard for the sig!

She's really under-rated. HSGG played her. Had 0 idea what any of her skills did at all.
Proceeded to do absolutely nothing almost all game with her.

I play her bot VS Duff(vayne) and Mowen(Janna) in an inhouse. We proceed to wipe the floor with them because of Karma's strong counter-gank potential. We didn't care about ganks because W is such a strong escape move, when used correctly. We dived with little to no care, because her shields are strong as hell.

With Karma, it's more about the micro skills of the player more than anything else.

I forgot to mention IMO.

Also, I've never said she was better than all the others because she was underrated. I said that she was better than most of the popular support but since she requires such a high skill cap to play, she is underrated and underestimated like hell.

I mean, she's so underated, that people even queue dodge when I pick her in a ranked. It gives you an idea on how much LoL's community knows nothing more than little bit about Karma's potential.

I do understand your point of view, I must say. And it is true that Soraka, Sona and Cait, in exemple, are very good champions, but I do feel some underrated champion are better than them. Brand, Annie, Caitlyn, Sona, Soraka, Morgana, etc. is but a small list of the popular champions, being EXTREMELY overrated by the community, mainly because they are so easy to play.

If you ask someone if he prefer to have Anivia or Annie in his team, most people will say Annie. Why?
1. Easier to play than Anivia
2. She is well known by everyone
3. She is overrated
4. Considered as OP in mid-low and low ELO
5. Stun hits 100% of the time, unlike Anivia where you have to time it well.
(I picked those champions as exemples, since they are both AP carries with AoE stun and huge burst)

I would personally have chosen Anivia, since I find she is a lot more useful to the team than Annie, but again, chosing Annie is safer, since she's so much easier to play. Same thing goes for Karma and other supports. Karma's more useful than most popular/mainstream supports, but playins these supports is much safer since they're easier.

She is hard to play. Really hard. I know, I play her a lot, trying to master the great champion she is and god only knows how fun she is to play.

Of course, everything I said is IMHO
