There will always be at least 1 lane he can set behind. I guarantee it.

IMO the best method with Shaco is to set one lane as far behind as possible. Abandon all others.

If you get one kill on a guy, come back 5 more times in the next 3 minutes.

legit.

That is what you actually always wanna do with any great early ganking jungler. Strong point of shaco is that he can make that happen bot lane aswell, while most of good gankers can be truly effective with this strategy only when doing it against solo lanes.

Well sorta yeah.

It really depends on the game.

Shaco is just exceptionally good at ganking. I think he is the best ganker...

dunno I still think Shaco can be a huge factor lategame with the sheer amount of pressure he can put on a team through his split pushing and the fact that you need to send at least 2 people to stop him. 6 item Shaco is pretty damn strong imo. :>

6 item Shaco can insta gib squishies, and THAT is where his real strength lies later on. Otherwise he is useless end game.

"Back dooring" is imaginary, that **** is terrible in organized play.

Deceive + instant dead squishy, now that's a realistic threat in team fights at various parts of the game.

Not back dooring. Split pushing or just map pressure in general is what he excels at late game and makes him a lasting threat throughout a game.

Again, all of that depends on his early game. He is extremey delicate and if denied it absolutely devastates his late game (nonexistent). I'm not say he is bad, that he is potentially poisonous to his own team which IMO keeps him out of T1.

Anybody who plays poorly is poisonous to the team. Might as well throw every champ into tier 2.

Okay if you wanna split push effectively, you're gonna need teleport. Do you wanna run teleport on Shaco?

Why would you need teleport? :o You just... push a lane your team isn't pushing and continue to do so untill they send people after you. The reason Shaco is great at this is because he can 1v1 anyone. To stop him they'd have to send at least 2 people giving your team more freedom etc

Because end game you can't do that. You hard engage and win the 5v4, deal with shaco, and push the base.

It's worth noticing that ganking with Shaco (and Rammus is very simple even for the least skilled player. That said, in the hands of higly skilled junglers it's hard to fail earlygame as you add to the easy ganks an high amount of skill from the player.
For example SaintVicious is devastating as shaco because his ganking ability is godlike despite the champion he's playing.
I've studied all his tattics but still I can't reach that level of ganking ability, nor can anyone else currently. He's got a special feeling for ganking that gives him the edge despite his amazingly bad (when compared to other great junglers that is) theorycrafting.
When youre naturally good at ganking Shaco rewards you amazingly.
