I like the idea for check boxes, but what if someone is ******ed and say their guide applies to all categories just so their guide is seen in every possible selection?
But I do like the idea of check boxes, it does allow people who have multiple areas to be displayed in the categories.
Personally, for example with my Warwick guide, even though it has a solo top section, I'd not put it in the "Laning" category because it's primarily a jungle guide.
But that's just me.

^You *want* it to be listed in every category. But is it really fair for someone who has dedicated a whole guide to 3v3 Sejuani that is 5x as in-depth as your one chapter?
That was my primary focus - giving more authors the chance to get to the top. Even if I wrote 3v3s, Dom and jungle Ashe into my Ashe guide, I'd only register it for Summoner's Rift because I want to give other Ashe writers a chance.

Well the point is, do you have to? I've felt obliged to write jungle sections, lane sections, "oh, what would be a good build in Dom, jhoi?", "have you played Vayne much in TT, what would you suggest?", and to be honest, I don't want to let these people down.
But at the same time, I'd rather have someone write a TT guide that is at 91% in a TT category that people can go to to read about all the TT stuffs that I may not know all about (as I don't play TT much).
I'd rather stick to Summoner's Rift, write what I know, and let other people take credit for other maps and modes of gameplay that they know.
For example, and this is a huge one, Lugig's Nasus Jungle guide. I would, 100% rather his jungle guide got 100 more views and votes than my one, measly jungle section in my guide.
But it doesn't happen because:
1) My guide is a higher percentage in the Nasus guides
2) Because my guide has a jungle section, people will read it over his, even though he is far more experienced with jungle Nasus than I am.
I was hoping this sectioning sort of filtering would mean people who really deserve to be recognised for their prowess in different areas will be seen. Instead of people who just write a section for everything even if they aren't too sure about the results, or write it under pressure, or feel the need to include a laning section to their jungle guide.

If she has a section for every map and for jungle and for lane, it's fair.

So if someone made a jungling trynda guide, which is viable, looks good and is up to date, and another person made a trynda guide which has both laning and jungling (and dominion and 3v3), also viable, looks good and is up to date, which person has the better rated guide?

Duff: Would you want to take credit for a jungle Olaf guide as well, if you add in a small jungle section? Or will you stick to your solo top Olaf guide, keep it for laning and let someone who enjoys jungle Olaf, perhaps knows a little more than you about jungle Olaf, take credit for a jungle Olaf guide in a completely different section than yours?
Your guide will still get massive votes etc for being solo top Olaf.
This kind of sectioning just allows someone else to write a jungle Olaf guide and get it as recognised as yours.
MissMaw: I understand your point, but I don't think you're listening to my side of what I'm trying to say. People feel discouraged to write guides here. They see guides at 91% etc and their own guide with no votes sitting at the bottom of the list for days.
With more sections, someone could look for a TT Ashe build and see there's not one written and write one. Why would I take that away from them? Why can't they have the spot light for a guide mode I don't even care about?
I just think it'd be more fair for all guide authors if guides were sectioned into categories and for guides to have a primary category.

Yes I understand, but why should an Ashe guide that focuses only on TT have a higher rate than a guide that has far more information about more possible viable ways to play Ashe? Unless, of course, when you say categories, that means that there will be a category only for TT, where there will be a whole differant group of guides. In which case...

..won't apply.

Along with this, you should disable having more cheat sheets on one guide, instead you force people to write 2 guides (say jungle or lane udyr, or ad/ap sion).
