Ugh.... This is a conversation I have been having with alot of Sc2 Semi-Pro Players, and some LoL friends... Personally Hate the ELO SYSTEM... Blizzard, said it best, when everyone was asking them about why they just didn't throw in a elo system in Sc2. Its bad (I'm Paraphrasing btw). I've played about 700 games... Easily in rank. Dont about 40 tourneys with my irl friends as a sub for them on another account under my name. I don't touch that account since we all technically share it, but its currently at about 1900. The level at that play in tourneys is good. But I still seem to go about 4/1 to 3/1 usually in each game. Usually with AP mid. The problem with this then, is that I know that i'm better then the players i'm playing with (Atm 1100), since literally when I hit level 30. Just jumped into rank... All I play. So I didn't really care then. But to get noticed You gotta be a higher elo, and it makes me mad since I play at a higher elo :< With SC2 you have the w/l ratio. I currently in sc2 have about a 65-70% win ratio over my loses in about 1000+. Its put me at a reasonable level in which I think is fair. But if i go below 55% it drops me into a lower league. This is how it should be in LoL. It would separate scrubs, like me when I started, with good leveled players, and also it wouldn't be a pain in the *** to get to a higher elo... I can explain more on this, but tbh just got my *** handed to me in magic, 2/3 (6 rounds dropped before the 6th just to play some EDH) and I'm tired... So if anyone wants me to explain more on this, it will be >.<
Thanks to everyone that has made me a sig!

ok, so recently i took a 1300 smurf and brought it up to 1500 in about 3 days. this is what ive played:

2 randoms (ad kennen, mid soraka)
kill lane bot with another smurf duo (j4 pantheon mostly)
2nd time anivia
ap tristana mid
3 tryhard games as jax, 1 tryhard game as vlad
jungle ezreal

i did not lose a single game in this period, though i will admit i duo queued most of the time with a couple high elo players (xai and nomadz, but when we werent kill laning they usually supported, including support veigar).. pretty much you can play anything and stomp this elo. elo hell does not exist. stop whining about it.

While I certainly agree that ELO hell does not exist, I'm not sure you prove the point with your example. You SHOULD win every smurf game with a high level partner against lower opponents.
