Wayne3100 Ranked Journey (EUW Server)

(yes, everything I named just now was random) Not sure whether I should just play more until I reach a point where I can play ranked normally or train more in normals before going back to ranked... >.>[/quote]

The game started off well with me going for an early gank top on [[Irelia]] (she barely survived and used [[Flash]]) before [[Ashe]] picked up first blood on [[Alistar]] in bot lane. A couple of minutes later she also killed [[Ezreal]], at which point I figured things were going well. At the same time in top lane, however,[[Amumu]] ganked for [[Irelia]] a couple of times, ruining [[Gangplank]]'s advantage. I helped out mid and [[Ahri]] soon got a nice advantage, but in the meantime the enemy team focused their attention on bot. Despite the lane being warded well most of the time, my teammates didn't seem to realise you need to back off when someone comes to gank, which resulted in the bot lane evening out more and more. When finally me and [[Amumu]] came to gank at the same time, all bot laners died to each other before we even reached them. We picked up the first Dragon as the bot lane was being ganked again (1 death) and were still overall stronger, but while their team kept going bot I also noticed [[Irelia]] was starting to heavily outfarm [[Gangplank]] and was becoming stronger and stronger. As a result, we found ourselves slightly behind in kills during the mid game (can't really remember where they turned it around, but they were ahead), but I knew we still had a lot of potential to catch someone out of position with the [[Ashe]] + [[Skarner]] ult. Unfortunately, [[Ashe]] decided to use the arrow to engage a full on 5v5 teamfight which we lost due to the [[Amumu]] ult, the fact that [[Ezreal]] was hard to reach and well protected by [[Alistar]] and because of [[Irelia]] who was very strong. As soon as we told her not to initiate like that, [[Ashe]] got frustrated and started whining about how many times they got ganked bottom and just played even worse. My own performance also went downhill at that point with some initiates that weren't great. In the end it was basically [[Ashe]] flaming all of us while most of us were flaming her (I didn't say much but you can rest assured that I was imagining me strangling her in my head) and we lost after a couple of more dumb fights as they picked up a simple Baron and pushed for the win. [color=red][b]ELO:[/b][/color] 1391 ----- [[Skarner]] isn't my most played champ, I could've done better, but I still think I did reasonable overall. Really annoyed at losing 20 elo over this when I normally lose no more than 15.[/quote]

The lastpick then went [[Yorick]] so I ended up jungling. We went for an early invade even though [[Morgana]] hadn't chosen her [[Dark Binding]] and forced [[Mordekaiser]] to [[Flash]] away. [[Amumu]], [[Mordekaiser]] and the enemy bot lane then invaded my blue while I started at red, picking it up pretty much uncontested. I decided against ganking early because I lost quite some health at the start of my jungle and unfortunately this gave bot enough time to pick up first blood on [[Varus]]. I went mid just after [[Mordekaiser]] had gotten the blue buff from [[Amumu]] and managed to leave the kill to [[Morgana]]'s [[Ignite]] so she would get it instead. The game was fairly even with kills on both sides when I eventually went for the next enemy blue but didn't realise they (enemy bot lane + [[Amumu]]) tried to do Dragon in the meantime. Luckily, our bot lane stopped them and [[Ezreal]] even picked up a double kill before [[Mordekaiser]] came in and killed [[Ezreal]] and almost [[Taric]] as well. I saved him with [[Exhaust]] on [[Mordekaiser]] and my shield, but was then unfortunately generous enough to save Morde's life as well by kicking him to safety with about 5 HP (I always overestimate Lee's ult damage, FML). They picked up the advantage as our bot lane died to theirs, [[Amumu]] stole my blue (despite my pings trying to lead [[Morgana]] to stop him she tried picking up kills bot instead) and then - immediately after - me and [[Morgana]] were caught out of position as [[Malphite]] suddenly emerged from mid lane and ulted in, allowing them to pick up the both of us and get dragon for free. Luckily for us, [[Yorick]] got top tower in the meantime, [[Mordekaiser]] was caught out of position twice soon after (dying both times) and I picked up a double kill in bottom lane as [[Amumu]] came to dive our bot lane together with [[Sona]] and [[Varus]], bringing it back to a point where it was relatively even. They picked up the second dragon after our bottom lane got caught and died and we then had a "teamfight"(without our bot laners, that is) in which I got a double kill but then died, again putting them back ahead. [[Amumu]] decided to spend the gold on an [[Oracle's Elixir]] which he then wasted by being completely out of position and - out of pure desperation - trying to execute himself (which didn't work out for him) and [[Mordekaiser]] got killed in mid soon after, making it fairly even once more. Then, during the late game, the game was decided within minutes. First our [[Yorick]] disconnected (second time this game) and they initiated on us and picked up 2 kills easily, looking like pulling ahead for a third and final (?) time, but then [[Amumu]] became overconfident in chasing [[Morgana]] and died to her + [[Yorick]] (who reconnected as soon as we lost the fight but at least sprinted for his life to help her), we picked up Dragon, then killed [[Mordekaiser]] (who I assume was near to try and steal it but never really attempted to do anything) and then immediately Baron to completely turn around the momentum, using the buff to push down two bottom towers before winning a teamfight in the enemy jungle by 4 kills to 0 and picking up two inhibitors. Absolutely crazy. There were some minor derps after that with both [[Ezreal]] and [[Yorick]] getting caught, but after the death of [[Ezreal]] we still won a 4v5 teamfight by 4 kills to 0 and after the death of [[Yorick]] (a minute later) we just waited for him to return before pressuring their base, eventually having one last teamfight in which we completely destroyed them (5-0) and pushed for the win. [color=red][b]ELO:[/b][/color] 1409 ----- *sigh* Back to silver at least. Really exciting game, despite [[Morgana]] being a complete idiot and blaming me for pretty much everything. Just goes to show how quickly a close game can be decided by something as simple as someone getting caught (which allowed us to pick up Dragon and then Baron and just stomp them).
