I'm writing a new guide entitled "Pro tips" or, "simple ways to get better," not sure yet. Bascially it's going to be a general guide with a bunch of tips and tricks I've been compiling. I thought I'd tap the moba resource and see if you guys have any tips and tricks I haven't thought of. If you say a tip that I haven't thought of yet and it's good, I'll include it in the guide and credit you for your contribution. I have several dozen at the moment, but here are some of my favorites:

'You can tell if a tower, creep, or champion is targeting you because they will get a reddish outline when they aggro you'

'Taking wraiths or stealing enemy wraiths as an ap mid champ is a great source of extra gold (see mordekaiser, anivia, karthus)'

'Smart casting items tutorial'

'ducking in an unwarded bush drops all creep aggro and yorick ghoul aggro. If enemy creeps target you while you are sitting in a bush, that bush is warded.'

I need some information regarding pink wards, if they can see outside of bushes, etc. I'm not sure if I want to get into champion specific tips, because they're always subject to reworks etc, and i'd have to write like 103 sections for each champ. Maybe if a champ has a really crazy unknown facet to them, like how janna can interupt dashes with her tornado, or how jayce can place acceleration gate A SPLIT SECOND AFTER he shoots a Q to basically make his bomb impossible to predict, or rylais on annie makes tibbers perma slow people in its immolation range.

Thoughts?

This one is obvious:

"Attacking an enemy champion while in his turret range will make the turret immediatly target you. However, the turret will only target the first person that attacked the champion until he's dead."

Isn't it true that if an enemy out of his own turrets range gets attacked, the turret won't change aggro? I'm pretty sure both target and attacker need to be in turret range.

About wards and all that kind of stuff, there is a really nice youtube channel hosted by ciderhelm. He explains nearly everything about LoL mechanics, champion abilities etc.

Something ive learned from playing Khazix is that you can find out if a bush is warded with his passive, if it doesnt go off then the bush is warded

so yeah that could go under a cool unknown thing

you could say which walls can and cant be dashed/blinked over because honestly there have been times i tried to flash over a wall and it didnt work cuz it happened to be to big

hmmm. One I always thought was funny was flashing into tower range when a yi alpha strikes you, but he's kinda gone out of style now so it's not very relevant.

Thank you Miss Maw, CasterMaster and Arcana3 for the sweet sigs. I'd definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a nice sig.

Pink wards placed in a bush can see out of that bush, but not into or through other bushes. Pink wards placed outside of a bush cannot see into or through any bushes. They work exactly like regular wards in this regard.

It might also be worth mentioning that AoE damage over time effects (Anivia ult, Morgana's pool, Malz's pool) do a single tick of damage immediately upon cast, so the can be used to last hit extremely low HP enemies if necessary.

You should mention that it's possible to ward the bottom river bush from purple's jungle, over the wall. You have to walk as far down as possible, then place the ward inside the wall. When done correct, the ward places itself in the bush instead; done incorrectly, the ward places itself at your feet or in the river itself.

On my computer, the outline that minions/champions/towers get when targeting you is yellow-ish, rather than red-ish. I'm not sure if this is due to my monitor or some game setting.

@Dill: Virtually every wall can be flashed over. Some are just more difficult than others.

Something I realized from playing Morgana: Proximity-required skills (not sure how to name this), such as Morgana's R, will have it's icon gain color if enemies are nearby. This includes invisible/shrouded targets. (pretty sure you can word this a lot better).

^Well, it's not like you can use them until they're within range, so..

Ahri's R is slightly longer than Flash's range.

All AoE skillshots have a slightly longer range than the range indicates (you need to consider the radius of the AoE itself).

Anivia's R is doing damage/slowing the second you cast it, even though it may not look like it.

Anivia's E takes enough time to travel that you can R before it lands.

Draven's passive deals DoT on crits or Axe throws (surprising amount of people who don't know this).

Karma is a champion

Ward jumping?

Anivia's wall, Zyra's seeds, Cassio's miasma and some other spells I can't think of at the moment reveal brushes.
