Because 5% scales better early game than late.
That logic.
Many other logistic problems.

@ izuul "w" first because of the lower Cd, "e" has a huge Cooldown and "w" is also a good escape.

@Russianfajita i always want to build Athene's Unholy Grail first because of the CD reduction and magic resist against the most Ap mid Champs

ok maybe im just missing something here that you can explain to me OP. why max w instead of e first? e scales better, helps you get in and out of fights, helps you chase, is better for farming (think how TF hits minions when they come in a line), and is in general more useful.

this i think you should change in no particular order:

starting items- boots pots is just silly id put dorans ring for her mana issuses

Morellonomico- it may just be because i personally hate this item but i would sub it for void staff for extra spell pen

skill max order- seriously maxing w first just seems ******ed and the main reason why im down voting mostly because you dont explain why you should max it first

improved recall mastery- this isnt really a big deal but bro you know point is better spent in wander or in master mind if your going into the utility tree

all in all -1 guide is decent but no information here is really guide worthy, i knew 95% of this by playing 2 games with lissandra

Strange guide.
IMO, you have a lot to work with.
May be I'll repeat some things that were already mentioned by Kuro***os, but he was right a lot.

1. Runes.
Forget about Greater Seal of Scaling Health - you have low health at start and you need to care about your early game rather then think that at level 18 it will be +19.44 hp each.
Plan I see from your guide: you won't be killed till level 11 when your scaling runes will start working properly.
All you runes are for late game (and you only mention how they are strong at level 18).
IMo you should choose between Greater Seal of Scaling Health and Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power. One of them should give you a possibility to do at least something in early game.
And I think it should be Greater Seal of Armor.

2. Items
Start: Boots + 3* Health Potion - became "classical" nowadays, but still personal choise.
Early-Mid: 1-2* Doran's Ring (gives all you need: some hp, AP and mana regen), Catalyst the Protector, Sorcerer's Shoes, Fiendish Codex.

Situational:
Kage's Lucky Pick - if you are bad with last hit & need gold income.
Mejai's Soulstealer - personal choise (very risky) if you feel you can deal with it properly.

Core Items in my opinion should be:
Rod of Ages, Athene's Unholy Grail, Rabadon's Deathcap

--
Enchantment: Furor - you are not a non-stop caster for this. Enchantment: Alacrity - if you need movement speed ponus.
Zhonya's Hourglass - seems unnecessary because of your Frozen Tomb. And be 5 seconds with no action (Tomb+Hourglass activation) - what's for?..
As it was mentioned - mostly you will never turn Archangel's Staff to Seraph's Embrace.
And Abyssal Mask is all the time an offensive item, not a defensive one.
--

As I see final build:
Enchantment: Alacrity, Sorcerer's Shoes, Rod of Ages, Athene's Unholy Grail, Rabadon's Deathcap, Abyssal Mask
And last item variable: Mejai's Soulstealer // Deathfire Grasp // Rylai's Crystal Scepter

Void Staff and Liandry's Torment can be used if you feel you need to be damage oriented.

rod of ages, sorcerer shoes, rabadons, zhonyas, deathfire, arch angel staff, furor enchantment or home guard. this is the build ive found most useful and effective for lissandra zhonyas works well for initiating team fights you use your ult on yourself then your w or snare then zhonyas deathfire and arch angel give you massive AP and arch angel gives you plenty mana and rod of ages is essential for lissandra is very squishy

Thank you Kuro***os, I appreciate your comment I will be sure to work out those kinks. It's only my second build, so I'm trying to figure which way is the best to make them. I am also new to the item selection for champions, and considering she is new it was harder. I appreciate the way you came about telling me. Once again thank you.

Loyal League has a very valid point, Russianfajita. You have quite a few random 0 post people who are upvoting your guide, and then are downvoting almost all of the other guides. This in itself is pretty suspicious. And the way you replied to him makes you sound very condescending and rude. Anyways, I'm not here to debate conspiracy theories, but your guide.

First off, Greater Seal of Scaling Health. I'm not exactly sure why you would have these runes at all other than the fact they were the suggested runes on the Champion Spotlight. These runes do not help Lissandra at all, since it's a very minimal amount of health that is taken away very easily. They just aren't viable. With a surplus of AD mids in the new meta, and AD bruisers in the top lane, you have nothing to back up her horrible base armor or her pretty terrible base mana regen. Greater Seal of Armor or Greater Seal of Mana Regeneration is much more viable.

Secondly, you have so many items that just do not work with her whatsoever. First off, Ohmwrecker is not even an item to consider. She has Frozen Tomb, making yourself untargetable, and if you don't hit anyone after the duration, the tower won't target you. Will of the Ancients: all her abilities are considered AoE, so you get almost no Spell Vamp from it. With Seraph's Embrace, it takes way to long to charge up Archangel's Staff to the amount of stacks you need. I'm not exactly sure why you would have athen's unholy grail as a situational item, since it provides her with almost all stats you need and is essentially a core item. That's 20% cooldown reduction, an absurd amount of mana regen, and 40 magic resist gone right there. Also with your item explanations, you pretty much just repeat the same thing for all of your items.

The lore is unecessary.

You have very minimal coding, it looks drab and dull.

Your explanations are incredibly support and don't have that much support to them. With your Summoner Spells, you only say what they do, not why it is or is not a good idea to take them. I don't care what you prefer, opinions with basis are key.

You say earlier in the guide that her passive is good, but in the ability section you say it sucks. Don't contradict yourself.

The jungling areas are incredibly lacking, and tells me almost nothing beneficial if I were to try her in the jungle.

Summary: You have so much work to do on this guide. Your explanations are unclear and at times I wonder, "That's your only reasoning?" Need to explain things much clearer. Your item choices are so strange and need some major thought to them. Your runes need to be changed too, as I'm interested on what's been tested, not what was suggested when she came out.

Also: Your games are so inconsistent, with the only real good recent one being a custom game. Work on being able to play her before writing a guide on her, because someone who's only getting 43 farm on her at 25 minutes doesn't sound convincing.

P.S. Nice obvious friendvotes from OneSadBanana, seeing how almost all your match history games have been with him. Him and whoever else friendvoted this. Try getting actual support or actual reviews like this to make it better, not people who tell you what you want to hear. Janitsu, sirell, Meiyjhe, those people make guides better. And getting friends to downvote other people's guides in order to boost your own is just scummy.
