Searz, you really REALLY need the mobility that Statikk Shiv/ Phantom Dancer gets you. Positioning is key on ADCs and sacrificing both MS and crit in order to get a load of AS and a really-not-that-great passive is really asking for trouble. I mean, how do you expect to utilise the AS when you can't even catch up to the enemy in the first place? You only have level 2 boots for MS. How do you expect to utilise the AS when you get caught out by Event Horizon because you're too slow to get away from that Veigar? I know you don't like crit stats, but it's actually quite important.
And the sheer amount of times you got caught in that Veigar stun was unreal. The fact that you were against a Thresh/ Veigar should really mean that you get both Cleanse and Quicksilver Sash, but even though I was bugging you about getting a Quicksilver Sash from about the 2nd-3rd-or-4th time you got womboed by Veigar, you decided to complete a Black Cleaver instead, which was just as questionable as the Runaan's Hurricane. :S
I mean, I built a Mikael's Blessing for both you and Ahri but like, the amount of times the two of you got caught with 0 counterplay is unreal... I mean, at least Ahri had a Zhonya's Hourglass by the end, but even that didn't save her. And both of you were complaining about the 1.5K damage Veigar was outputting, but Ahri had 0 MRes until the end-game Abyssal Mask which was far too late and you had no MRes whatsoever, because I couldn't build an Aegis of the Legion and you refused to rush a QSS.
Sure I made a lot of ****ty mistakes in that game, but come on, taking at least one of QSS/ Cleanse vs Thresh/ Veigar, not buying Runaan's Hurricane and Black Cleaver on an ADC (some exceptions) is BASIC ****.
It's honestly much easier to itemize to eliminate one target at a time, rather than make a messy itemization to try and take out the whole of the enemy team...

Runaan's kills your single target DPS. It makes you powerless in a duel and means you will do nothing to any tanks coming after you in a teamfight. People rarely clump up enough for it to be effective and even when they do it doesn't really exceed crit and the crazy synergy it has with Infinity Edge. Burning down one target quickly is always better than dealing mediocore damage to several when you're a squishy *** ADC.
I have hundreds of Caitlyn games; it's a terrible item on her and on every other ADC.

No you don't. Bring a logical point to the discussion if you wanna bring one at all. The Shiv passive is WAAY worse than the Hurricane passive.
The Hurricane passive gives a potential DPS increase of over a 100%.
Meanwhile the Shiv passive gives a potential DPS increase of up to 10% when fully geared.
The Shiv passive also doesn't proc life steal and is magic damage, so your ArP is useless for that damage.
I'll deal with other ****py arguments tomorrow. Snoozin' time.
