Soo a bit like that board game "Diplomacy"?

Man, Diplomacy is an incredibly good example of board game design. I love that game. No one will play it with me any more, though.

Anyway, I also got the bundle, and I'm tooling around with it a bit. I haven't really done much yet, since there's a lot to wade through. I've got the starting cutscene area done, although I think I made the map larger than necessary and have a lot of unused space in the middle that I might want to get rid of later. I need to figure out how to do an in-engine cutscene now, to get the plot rolling. And I have to figure out how to make it so my starting character can walk over to the door to get out of her cabin... Probably just need to use a tile that isn't classified as "roof". (This was exactly the problem. I can now reach the door out. Will make the outdoors bit and the script to move outside tomorrow.)

I'm going to have to figure out combat mechanics, too, since I plan on having some simple combat early on in the game. Probably right after you get out of the cabin. Nothing too fancy, just an enemy or two as a kinda' tutorial bit. But I'm not going to really be able to handle that very effectively unless I can figure out how I want at least the early levels to play.

Also, Searz, I'm willing to give non-random a go, but it's going to take a bit. I've got a decent idea about how I'd want to handle the mechanics for a non-random system, including battles, but I'm going to need to learn how the scripting in RPG Maker works first, and that's gonna' take some time.

Can you add in a naked dancing body building in your game named "Toshabi" and have him be recruitable? Thanks.

what architect designed the dancing body building? i think having a building as a recruitable teammate would just take up a slot unless the building is also a walking body building

also why did you have to say it was naked arnt most buildings unclothed?

I had thought of something like this. Edited it to have it as a whole.
That's still just really basic plot. Trying to edit it in a better way.

@Tosh: I don't think I want to search for "Naked body animation" in google.

Asked a friend who likes to write stories and such to spice it up and he came up with something along these lines:

"Main character X lives with a family in a poor city being ruled over by rich nobles. (Main character being poor here) One day civil war is set up by underground shady organisation to fight against the nobles. Main character returns from let's say hunting/shopping trip to see the terrifying state of the city. He/she runs back to her/his house to notice the house on fire. Soon gets knocked out by noble guards and wakes up later to hear his/her family is dead. Half of the city is ruined and nobles remain in charge of the city.

Main character starts to seek for the leader of the underground organization and get rightful leader for the city who doesn't discriminate poor citizens."

The original premise seemed more interesting to me; had a more unique angle and setting. Also that setup would lead to a more interesting protagonist imo (antiheroes are way more fun).
