Yes.. But it's still underpowered.. The amount of lifesteal doesn't make up for the loss in damage and gold.
"I sexually Identify as an Attack Helicopter. Ever since I was a boy I dreamed of soaring over the oilfields dropping hot sticky loads on disgusting foreigners. People say to me that a person being a helicopter is Impossible and I’m ****ing ******ed but I don’t care, I’m beautiful. I’m having a plastic surgeon install rotary blades, 30 mm cannons and AMG-114 Hellfire missiles on my body. From now on I want you guys to call me “Apache†and respect my right to kill from above and kill needlessly. If you can’t accept me you’re a heliphobe and need to check your vehicle privilege. Thank you for being so understanding." - Guuse

Your goal as a carry is to destroy the enemy team as fast as possible, not to be able to regen on creeps afterwards. Would you rather have 200 hp after acing them or 2000 hp with 2 of them alive?
So yeah, buffs are definately needed. I like the 2nd rework, it makes the item really different from the usual RoA/Warmog's incrementing concept. Bloodthirster really needs to deal massive raw damage, if not it's always going to be overshadowed by other items with mixed damage attributes, especially armpen.

BT is also inferior to other life steal items, so your argument about it being good if you want sustainability is not valid.
The moment a religious person unknowingly calls his own ways stupid: "And lol. I highly doubt you have magic powers. If you proved it I would believe you, but since you 'refuse to', I choose not to."
I have to agree that Thirster might be considered a bad item. So far the only thing i would change is the cost of the recepie itself. 900g to make BF+VS into thirster is way too much imho.
10AD and 3% Lifesteal for 900g.
Still those graphs are made to compare dps, but you forget about the lifesteal? Ppl going for pure AD will make TBC or IE, but ppl tend to buy thirster JUST for the lifesteal. Atm there is no other option to get AD and lifesteal in single spot for a hard carry other than Thirster.
So i would change the cost of recepie to the value more or less equal item of Doran's sword.
200g-300g imho (coz compared to the doran you dont get the HP.
900g is way too much fot the bonus you get.
Ofc it has that stacking thing but loosing it due to death makes it questionable...

I had a feeling it wasn't that great but :/
