For fun or for realz...

I find myself always looking for new champions to play and master...trying my best to expand my champion pool. In my previous blog post I listed out my main champions that I mainly play (yes... Nunu & Willump support is viable in my books). LeBlanc was the most recent champion I had purchased and ever since I got her I have been improving my reaction times as well as muscle memory. Since my muscle memory has been getting better I thought I would go try

Woe is me.

I learnt a valuable lesson today.
Don't ever try to play ranked games without first going outside of your room to see if there is an electrician in your house putting in new lighting...

I actually had a chance of reaching plat by the end of today, since I was Gold 1 with 50 lp gaining 10 lp per win, but that dream is over now...
I just wanted to end the season with a rank that is actually respectable even in the slightest.
Gold is nothing..

Sigh.

Akimata's thoughts on Dominate SR #1

Our superb analyst Akimata put these notes together for us after the game and gave me permission to share them here.

Spectator's Notes:

Game 1:

Top Lane: Ersake did a really good job of limiting Riven's overall presence on the map throughout the game. He outfarmed/outharrased Riven (although Riven just played really scared imo). Overall top was a win because Ersake pushed much better and still retained presence.

Mid Lane: TamePurpleLlamas is a god. He had quite a lot of scrambled eggs for breakfast I see.

Jungle: Pretty good all-around presence. Top was basically impossible to gank due to Ersake's shoving. Just some randomly missed E+Q combos and a questionable dive when it was already an advantageous 1 for 0.

Bot Lane: I think Rivert0k2 gets countered by champions with either hooks/hard CC gap closers. Blitz really punished Rivert0k2 for standing still for even a second. Other than that, Axu4 still csed like a god which was good. Caitlyn naturally dominates lane matchups, but I

Tournament 11/10

The game sucked cause someone died level one and someone lost top very hard. Someone else also won mid but did 0 dmg.

We need moar gankz botlane to snowball, more useful than saving irrelevant top.

We lost vision control because no one but our support was warding. More pinks plz as well.

I could have bought an earlier lw do do more than 1/80th of singed health with each auto. I also should cs better and get kills bot against champs like vayne. In terms of shotcalling, I should be more vocal and make less dumb calls like 4v5s cause I see one person I can kill. OH MY GOOD WE SHOULD DO BARON!

I'm confident we could win games versus high/mid plats, we've so much time on ranked team and can make better calls. In s4, we can hit gold by improving personally and just recording mistakes after every game.

First Mobafire Tournament

FIRST MOBAFIRE TOURNAMENT FOR TEAM GLOBAL TEEMO TAUNT OP

Where the emphasis is on Mobafire of course.

Global Teemo Taunt OP has a long history in professional gaming. Starting in S1, Global Teemo Taunt OP was founded at the same time as Team Solo Mid. While Regi was browsing the forums for a group of competent individuals for his team, we had already founded a team. Team Global Teemo Taunt OP.

Now enough history, today Global Teemo Taunt OP embarks on an epic journey to win Dominate SR #1 NA. Two equally long names with similarly long histories. Who will be the one to complete this daunting feat?

First up for Global Teemo Taunt OP: We Were Bronze. In the Skype call, we all laughed as we reminisced about our own Bronze memories:

Axu4: Our team captain and team motivator in games. Back in his Bronze days, he struggled with landing Amumu Qs. Fortunately, the super op Amumu, pre-nerfs of course, was often blocked by the vanguards of the Bronze League.
Endocrine8: Resident Tilter and M…

Why are we called Global Teemo Taunt OP?

What is Teemo?

Teemo is a furry creature.

If boiled at the proper temperature, the fur can be removed with little difficulty resulting in a delicious meaty surprise. Blind testers have stated that this delicacy is "tasty," "scrumptious," and "muy sabroso."

However, in accordance with League Law, champions are not actually supposed to be eaten. Fizz, the fisherman, has been called out for heartlessly throwing Urf and other domesticated sharks at poor unsuspecting summoners who are shortly after eaten alive. Cho'Gath is a hot topic of controversy due to the nature of his ultimate, suitable named Feast. Fortunately, this topic is not for us to discuss today.

Returning to the original point of Teemo.

So. What is Teemo?

A delectable treat? A biohazard? A living and breathing ward?

No. Teemo is a taunt. A global taunt.

We invite all you hunters of men to leave your hopeless travels and join us on Summoner's Rift.

Teemo awaits.

Season 3 Personal Reflections-My journey to Gold

Alright, this is my first blog post, and it's gonna be a average length one. I hope it doesn't get delisted by stupid troll blogs which are basically no-pointers saying something about their random team or just asfsafasd and done. At the start of the season(the end of season 2), I was 850 elo(peak 1222, so I got silver border), and I think I may even be lower than that. Now, I'm Gold 3, and getting myself a Victorious Elise skin. This will be a pretty big summary of what happened in my climb during Season 3.

I had 3 goals in Season 3:
1. Hit Gold
2. Improve as a player
3. Have fun

Start of Season: 10 Provisional Matches.

All I remember was that I used to be a top main, which I eventually found out to be my worst role. The elo of people in the Garena server was absolutely HORRENDOUS at the end of season 2, with like the 100th top ranked person having around 1650 elo if I'm not wrong.

I won 5 games and lost 4 going into my 10th provisional match. I didn't do that wel…
