Art Post #7: SO CUTE

Hey again guys! Hope you enjoy my 7th post for the art part of my blog :)

Intro

Welcome back! I decided to go super-happy for this post's mood :D
I had lots of fun finding these wonderful art pieces for our champions!
So in this post we get to see the cute Sona, Pantheon,

Warding, a rant by CloudCarry

Disclaimer: I originally made this rant in response to a reddit thread, but thought it would be useful here, as well. While this blog may contain useful information for play below silver, this rant is directed at gold level play and up.

Every time someone dies at bottom lane, I look at the mini map. Yup, no vision except one lonely ward (which is not nearly enough for bottom lane) and the support ALWAYS has two wards in their inventory, but doesn't ever place them.

I see a lack of vision in a lot of my games and yet the support doesn't seem to know what they're doing. Surely some of that is their lack of appreciation for the role, but I realized the other part of it must be because of misinformation and what is generally accepted as "good enough."

Now, there is a way to properly ward and in fact, it's pretty simple: you just take the season 2 support mentality to the next level and use sightstone, if that's your thing. The thing people don't understand about support is that items…

Mid Lane Madness - Entreé

Syndra

I fell in love with Syndra the moment she was announced, yet found her disappointing on release. A big part of this was because she felt so unintuitive to me, unlike, say, Orianna. But I persevered, and would often start to get a feel for her. However, with me constantly flitting between champions I would lose any grasp of how to play her and have to begin pretty much from square one. It was my experiences with Syndra which made me start focusing on one champ at a time, and it payed off. I took my experiences in each game and brought it forwards to the next, improving upon it each time. Nowadays I understand her kill potential and can set up and execute burst combos reliably.

Syndra is a champion I find incredibly fun, exceeded only by

Meiyjhe Update (7)

Greetings ladies and gentlemen,

Here I am again, with a few announcements:
1. Avatar
2. School n stuff
3. Hay fever
4. Janitsudude

1. Avatar
I want a new bananavatar, but I have a hard time finding one. If you could help me, I would really appreciate it, since I googled for ages and still couldn't find 1 pic that is that close of being awesome to the avatar I have right now :D

2. School n stuff
These couple of weeks have been madness for me. A lot of **** needed to happen, a lot of **** I didn't like to do. Things you had to do as a group, ended up to be done mostly by myself. Chaos everywhere, nothing is clear, but brace yourself, holidays are coming, finally.

I cannot imagine starting to work, like, without holidays. That you will have all that chaos for the rest of your life... Makes me... depressed...
Anyway, let's stay optimistic for now.
Hurray for optimism! :D

3. Hay fever
I have found out recently... that I have hay fever. Hurray, more good news!
It is bugging me quite a…

So! I'm on a quest for Gold!

I've climbed up the ladder a bit and I'm on my way to a higher silver! Some of you, as well as I, have wondered if you can make it to Gold as a support. Well, I've done some research and yes, you can. I saw a post about someone climbing from silver to plat 2 as a support. Some of you may hate and say that supports only get carried to wherever they are, but I disagree. A good support with cc and/or heals plays an important role for the team. If support was that easy you'd see a lot of people picking that role instead of a carry role to get to where they want. Korea knows that supports are important and are valuable. That is why they purposely feed their support one or two kills and don't mind if they secure a kill. Heck, the trend with supports taking ignite came from Korea!

I have taken a small break from streaming, there's too much drama going on in the background. Some of you may remember the incident where my mother tried to saw my door in half. My fram…

Source of all General LoL tips, interested?

After browsing both YouTube and Google for a while I thought I should do this.
As the general community of LoL most likely would like to Improve theirselves, I thought it could be a great idea to make a list for all (or at least a big percent) of all tips & tricks for this very game. (Both things that involves your mental, that gbay99 talks about, and general things that will make you grow as a player.) Before I do so, I'd like to ask if:

* This is something interesting you'd like to have.

* There perhaps could be some kind humans to PM me links of things they think i should bring?

IceCreamy's Item Insights #2: Banner of Command!

Hey everyone, welcome back for another blog article in my series, Item Insights. This time I want to talk to you about yet another incredibly impopular item, namely Banner of Command. With a
popularity of 0 %
, rarely anyone buys this item. If we look more closely, we see this item is almost exclusively bought on supports. Let's see why exactly that is:

  • Costs 2360 gold
  • Builds out of an Emblem of Valor and a

I SUCK!

I am new to the game, and suck ***.
People keep telling me to remain calm and use adc, and start talking all this **** and giving me links to sites to help build my champ etc, then i take a look and it's just a bunch of words and colors... you might as well be speaking to me in another language!
Is there anyone out there who can ACTUALLY help me understand this game?
I've put a fair bit of money into LoL and feel like a complete idiot for doing so, i want to finish playing this game and get the F rid of it, but obviously because i have put money in i am reluctant to just quit and give up.
But i've had enough of everyone stealing my kills, calling me a noob and luring me into my death by saying 'follow me ill help' when they dont :/
WTF?!?!?!?!?!
I seriously don't understand this game and really want to...
anyone out there?

Just for Fun Maths

This blog post is "just for fun", assuming you find mathematics interesting. A little hypothetical formulation.

I mentioned in my previous post that aside from sometimes being faster, numerical approaches to modeling champion damage are more appropriate than algebraic ones. But what if we wanted to use algebra anyway, just to be awkward? How about this situation: Two Ashes, each with a BotRK and "simple" items (no Statikk Shiv). We want to model a duel between the two and determine who dies first, accounting for regeneration from HP/5 (but no Perseverance ) and lifesteal.

There are three variables here, the health of one ADC (x), the health of the other (y) and time (t). Damage and regeneration are simply components of derivatives of health with respect to time. The formulae I came up with look like this:

Riot apologise for "frankly unacceptable"

Via: PCgamesn apple

League of Legends’ EUW server has been a bit under the weather lately. For the past two-and-a-half weeks, players have felt the kick of regular service hiccups and lost ranked games to its fits of downtime.

Developers Riot have taken to their forums to apologise for an experience they acknowledge has been “intensely frustrating and frankly unacceptable”.

The rapid expansion of the game’s playerbase has “surprised and humbled” Riot, but it’s also given their servers a bit of a beating. EUW especially has grown extremely quickly and regularly breaks records for peak numbers, leaving the developers in “uncharted territory” when it comes to scaling their service.

“Occasionally this means things have broken in unexpected ways,” explained Demorphic, Riot’s European community manager. “Members of our technology team in Europe and back in Los Angeles have been hard at work to scale the infrastructure behind League of Legends and provide a game…
