Inside a Champion #1-Draven

Hello all! I know that my only blogs were really random, but this blog is the first of a series that I want to blog about, about the characteristics of a champion and why they do certain actions or are perceived in a certain perspective. Do note that this is just my opinion though.

Well, I'm gonna start it with Draven, or "The League of Draven".

To us,

Cheers To The Freakin Weekend

You'll notice I mostly post on the weekends. That's because my boyfriend allows me to mooch off him and use his computer when I stay with him on the weekends. lol.

I'll see y'all in the game lobbies! I'll be gettin my IP up so I can afford a new rune page and can FINALLY but Miss Fortune. It's been a looooong time comin! But don't worry. I won't completely abandon. I will still be making a build guide on her sometime soon. Everyone just needs a little bit of change from time to time :)

Peace my darlinggsssss<3

Nunu and Yeti Jungle In-depth

Champion Overview:

Nunu is one of the simplest champions in League of Legends -- he is super 1-dimensional. He is effectively a tutorial-mode champion who I can really see as being ideal for new players (which doesn't make him bad in more competitive matchups by itself, don't misunderstand). There is a decent skillcap on being really effective with his ultimate, and his Blood Boil benefits from players getting used to smart casting.

Skills Overview:

Visionary(Passive)- Nunu can cast a spell for free after 5 attacks.

Just wondering...

I see that community cup and pretty much everything is only present on NA and EUW servers. I don't really wanna transfer my account, but would miss 30+ champs and 3 skins...

So i'm wondering if i start leveling my EUW account, will anyone help me atleast farm out some champs? Gifts welcome too :P

Itemization

So basically I wanted to cover warding, but I wanted to cover GP10's and sightstones because the sighstone is a key element in warding. Thats why I'm going to explain some itemization first :)

Sightstone vs Gp10
Let's start with a comparison in the amount of gold returned on your investment. The Sightstone gives 2 wards in 3 minutes, which equals 50 gold per minute. A Ruby Sightstone comes down to 75 gold per minute and a philosopher's stone is 30 gold per minute. When not looking at the stats the item gives, the sightstone will take you 19 minutes to completely pay for itself, ruby sightstone is about 21 minutes and the philo stone is just over 23 minutes.

This makes sightstone the most beneficial item to rush, especially when you consider that health is the best defensive stat in the early game. Because a kage's lucky pick only gives 4 gp/10, bringing it at 24 gold per minute while being more expensive than a philo stone, this item is a NOT BUY.

I only go for p…

Smurfs

Recently I've started leveling my smurf up and have noticed that there are other people that smurf that just abuse the hell out of the legit low level players, I try to help as much as I can but it just annoys me that there are people like that in the community, one time I had a yi on my team I called mid as viktor who I had never played before but it was a smurf so I'm like wth I'll give him a go this yi then just randomly says I'm mid and abuses me. I go top so I don't cause an argument and then because I was top and I was viktor I did terribly so yi just abuses the **** out of me for being bad. It makes me wonder if that is why there are so many trolls at level 30 or why the level 30 community is so quick to turn to abuse.

Vidya Games!

Two things:

What are your favorite console co-op games? Any game console qualifies. Must be co-op, competition doesn't count.

Honorable mentions:
Secret of mana (SNES)
Resident evil 5 (XBAWCKS)
King of dragons (SNES)

Compiling a list. Gimme your favorite co-op games of ALL TIME!

Also, I'm looking for younger people that haven't played some early snes/nes classics and would be willing to play those games and record your thoughts. Some of the games are pretty long on their 1st playthrough, so you have to be committed to finish the games in a timely manner (week or less).

Some games I was thinking about:
Secret of mana
Super Mario RPG
Chrono Trigger
Super Metroid
Actraiser
Various megaman titles

All of these are available in rom format. Got spare time and haven't played older games, HMU kiddies

Champion Design Review: Featuring Quinn

Hey MOBAFire and welcome to another blog post of mine. Well, as an aspiring game designer I decided to analyze designs in other games and League of Legends is one of them. I won't just cover champion designs but also other aspects such as Roles, Wards, Items and perhaps even the Maps. Also, don't expect just League of Legends designs. I will also discuss other games such as Skyrim, Civilization, Legend of Zelda, etc.

Anyway, my first blog will cover

Seeding Hell ;_;

I've played 3 games anddddd I've only won 1. I might as well accept I'll be in bronze T.T It sucks because I do everything right and I'm doing good it's just my teammates are like "NO. I'MA DO WHAT I WANT!!!!" Sigh. I'm trying so hard. Do you guys think I should just give up because I pretty much know at this rate I'm gonna get up in bronze. I've had high ranked friends say "Come duo with us" but I want to earn being in a good tier not have someone hold my hand. I'm just kinda disappointed I've only won 1/3.

IceCreamy's Item Insights #1: Executioner's Calling

Hey everyone!

Today marks the start of a new series of blogs I will write! I will try to write a blog like this weekly, taking a different item every week of course.
This week I want to talk about Executioner's Calling - one of the least bought items according to Elophant. As you can see in the second graph, the popularity is about 0 %. I've been wondering why this percentage is so low, and to find out, let's get into a more detailed description of the item!

  • Costs: 1900 gold
