Result of last Sunday for Oath A

Well, Oath in Agony still has a long way to go before we get anywhere close to good.

Our first match in Twisted Treeline was very good. Although the team ended up winning in the end, I feel like we definetley gave the opposing team a good match. We ended the game with more kills, but that's what we get for not banning (or taking) Tryndamere.

Ah well.

However, the match in Dominion sure left us in broken spirits. We were crushed. Completely. The game was over in nine minutes. Nine!

Revive. Revive.

We definetley have to study more on Dominion. I only wish Riot would put more incentive to by putting in Ranked queues in Dominion. Ah well.

Alright, cool subject right? I certainly like to think so. Personally, I love to actually get into that and am actually working on a project of my own including programming my own Game Engine. However, that isn't actually the subject of this blog. This morning, or afternoon rather because I mean come on, why wake up in the morning if you don't have to, I took a look at the newspaper and read an interesting article regarding outsourcing.

Now outsourcing in general is something that I dislike but right now I figured I'd try it. Now don't worry, not asking you guys to write a cool algorithm for me or an AI agent based on Artifical Neural Networks but I've decided to set up my own forum/community that revolves around Game Development and Design. Issue: I don't have a name yet. Names I did come up with are already taken, the url, that is.

General Qs and More Rengar Discussion

Hello everyone. First order of business are some general questions: So, I've started playing Rengar top lately, and does Rengar's bonus Q damage work when he uses his passive jump? Also, in your top lane experience, who are the hardest counters to Fiora (She's a ***** to deal with for me)? Secondly On my (extremely opinionated) ideas to buff Rengar in my last post I think his W should have a base amount of healing: 30/45/60/75/90+(60 per level) so that it will be worth leveling more. Other than that I think that his HP should go up by 90 per level up from 85. Also, please post Rengar solo top advice in the comments. It will be much appreciated. Ahhh Today Is Freakin Awesome. :D

I was totally supposed to work today...but then this girl I work with was like "I WANT MORE HOURS!" Here boo, have my four! lol. So, my day will consist of a shower, LoL and some LoL enhancing activites ;) My lord this day will be grand!

Started playing with a man that I'll call Hawk last night. Thank god we started playing when we did because I swear that man has showed me more in three hours then I've learned the 2 or 3 months I've been playing. I feel like a little less of a noob now :) I just need to get used to using teleport with my enchanted arrow on Ashe. It seems like such an easy thing to do, but it seriously isn't. lol. Well I mean it isn't EXTREMELY difficult. It's just something I need to get used to. I still try to flash out of fights I can't handle and then realize DUH SAMANTHA! PORT ISN'T FLASH! ahaha. Also traded in heals for barrier. Another thing I need to adjust to and fast. Thankfully, Hawk is super patient with me and hasn't been like "*****, you suck the D". Ah…

ARAM Fun.

The other night I was playing ARAM. I was doing well,was getting most kills, and just mopped the floor with the other team. I score a couple of triple kills and out of no where this guy says "Report MF she's stealing all of the kills and leaving none for us." >.>; Mind you,I'm going in by myself and picking them off one by one. So our Janna was said "MF is doing fine. She's earned her kills by him/herself so just chill." They start fighting and what not. I finally say, "Fine if you want some kills come with me." I take this dude with me and you know what he does? Lets them gank me.I'm like ._. okay? I am being kind and allowing this dude to get kills (who was already 15/5/13) he says to me "That's what you get." We won and I ended the game 25/2/29.

I think people forget ARAM is for fun and for people to learn to fight as a team. It just pisses me off when I try to be nice and I get ****ted on. I always try to be fair and not hog up the kills or anything. Hell,I'm the type of person i…

"Artificial Tankiness"

Hi guys!

Not sure if you people know about this but I just wanted to bring this up.
If you've noticed, there's been a mass insurgence of specific AP top laners in the asian servers. I'm sure many of you are wondering why they would do that when lacking a clear tank initiator in the top lane. This is mostly due to a concept I call artificial tankiness (not sure if there's a proper term for it).

Artificial tankiness is not really a stat. Rather it is a concept of the game. It forces enemies to not attack or forces them to reposition and essentially stalls them in engaging.
The main two examples are Rumble and Kennen.


Howling Abyss/ARAM Is Kind of ******ed, Needs some Mods

So in this all middle completely random 5v5 match up, the concept may be good but the map and mechanics are actually ******ed. If the point is to send 5 champions straight into each other without much room to move to have a bunch of cool team fights the map should honestly be made wider not longer, it's way too long and narrow and poorly made.

Some width to the lane would allow for more flanking, instead champions are restricted at what they can do, it forces champions that were not designed for head to head combat, into head to head combat.

For this type of purpose, the laning concept should just go away completely. It would be neater to allow an open nexus design where the base is circular so say 4 turrets positioned in a square type format with inhibitors behind and the nexus in the very center so that the base can be attacked from all sides. Or at least at least a half circle type setup for each base like Howling Abyss would work but keeping it all in one wider lane.
