Any good supports out there for ranked matches? I`m unranked, so, haha, laugh at me.
I myself will play either Jinx or Vayne as ADC, so looking for a support that actually knows what he`s doing... Because most of the time , supports are like anal polyps... They don`t know what they do, ruin my laning, and then cry because we lose...

So it seems that grinding is going a bit slower than I had expected... I had anticipated reaching level 10 today, but with RL duties to worry about, and a life to live outside LoL, it is looking like I still have a ways to go. So, I started experimenting with Garen, since I have already decided that he is going to be my main, at least for a little while.

Most of the time, I wind up finishing games before I even finish half of my planned final kit, so I played a game this morning, and purposely attempted to draw it out by not pushing so heavily. Now I realize, when playing against live opponents, that I am probably going to have to worry much more about things like some ganker popping out of the jungle at random to burst me hard while I am already trying to tangle with two champs, but while I am still learning (and playing against tut bots solely), it seemed safe to go off my beaten path a bit.

Hello, everyone. My name is KaeldorAmmon, and I am a new player to LoL. Shortly after downloading the game and opening it for the first time, I realized what a deep, complex game LoL is, and decided that I would look to see if there were any guides to help me start on my quest for fame and glory. That search quickly led me here, to the MOBAFire site. I found a lovely guide for starting players by someone called The All Tomato (LoL Essentials), and quickly started running through a couple of tutorial games once I felt I had a handle on the basics of play.

I decided, after my first few games, that I would document my journey as a growing player here on MOBAFire in this blog. If nothing else, it would give me something to look back on and laugh at later once I had put in the work to become a great player. I am starting a little challenge for myself over the holidays. Right now, I am a complete ****ter and I have come to realize this is always the way it will be. I do still try my hardest when I play but reaching plat or something is just no do able with the amount of time I have to play league these days. However over the last few weeks of holidays my league addiction has flaired up because I really dont feel like putting in actual "work" during my holidays. So from now until the new year I am going to do a little challenge when I play. Here is the breakdown.

1. Playing highest winrate champions only.
2. List for winrates will be from www.champion.gg
3. I will change roles each game. Only playing support when auto filled.
4. If the highest winrate champion was picked by the other team, we will pick the second highest champion.
5. I will use builds / runes according to the highest winrate builds listed on www.champion.gg also.

Powerspikes are a quite obscure concept that's mostly grasped subconsciously after you get some experience with a champion, but they are one of the basics of actually mastering a champion, so it's always good to know more about them.

tl;dr: Powerspikes are moments within the game when your champion suddenly gets more power than average from an item/levelup.

*Item powerspikes means that plain gold does NOT give you a powerspike. Getting a kill won't help you hit an item powerspike until you go back to base and buy something.

More power than average is important because you'll always get more power whenever you finish an item or level up your champion. But some items and some levels will give you more power than others and it's important to know them to get better at any champion you play. Swain Guide Thing

So I've been away from ages until I've come back like 1-2 months ago. Basically, had to process my hate for Riot's dunking of my main fun champions consecutively (Swain, Malz, Yorick) and was honestly tired and not having fun.

Now that I'm back, I've realized I like Swain more than I thought I would, aaaand I'm tired of seeing them build the GLP thing into Visage like that's a good thing (ugh.) Basically, I wanted some opinions on the guide and all that, so as to make sure it's good.

Guide is missing two things: a lanephase video (which I have the footage but still need to record my amazeballs accent) and a gif sequence for the teamfight section.


Would really appreciate the patience from some of the cool regulars. Doesn't need to be too in-depth if you don't want to/don't have the time. All help is good help!

So in patch 6.23 there was a change to krugs having them give more xp. This is a big change to what the jungle route is. The most popular route is Red-krugs-gank. It is important that you can gank after krugs if they are overextending. You will be lvl 3 and they will either be lvl 1 or 2. This gives a very big advantage to you.The red buff also will help you a lot. After a gank depending on the situation you can do 1 of 2 things. You can do a jungle clear where you just farm in your jungle or you can farm a little more and then gank mid or top/bottom depending on where you started. For a full clear all you have to do is move around the jungle and farm keep in mind that this patch also made raptors worse so consider skipping them for krugs or blue/red. Also for a clear if you have good vision on their jungle or get a kill on the other teams jungler you can invade fairly safely. If you want to gank another lane early it is a bit riskier but if it works could give your team a big advanta…

Just when you thought CertainlyT's reworks took the cake for bad design on champions that make zero sense, move over Mordekaiser because now Rengar is in town. His entire rework essentially gutted him and he quite literally makes zero sense. His ability to kill anyone has been completely neutered. Without a doubt, his old design was cancer, 1-shotting enemy squishes in 0.5 seconds before they even had time to react was poor design, but at the very least you could say he fit the "assassin" design. The new rengar lacks any real damage; Savagery, while great for clearing the jungle is considerably worse to use against enemy heroes and you don't get the reset quickly enough to get that satisfying doubleburst. Couple that with incredibly low base damage and a subpar ratio Savagery just doesn't really do anything. Just to put it into context how bad it is,
