The Best Way to Improve in League of Legends

Trying to find a way to improve as a player in League of Legends is quite controversial; Many people have gone to youtube videos, guides, streams, etc. to find ways to improve their gameplay, but there is one way that can improve gameplay in all spectrums of play that is quite underrated - attitude.

Attitude, generally, is known to be the main reason people go 'on tilt' when playing over long sessions of ranked play, or after a loss. The reason for this is that attitude can create artificial stress for a person, which then can produce hormones like adrenaline and cortisol that can affect mental state by putting a person in a 'fight or flight' mode. The main issue is that, by going in a 'fight or flight' mode, your mind is limited in its thinking pattern, which can cause in-game issues:

1) Being reckless (being aggressive in lane and getting ganked)
2) not warding (denying vision for objectives and ganks)
3) not using intelligent, mechanical play

One of the best ways to counteract st…

Just the beginning

So the hardest part about making a competitive team, so far in my experience, is to get five people who are descent at league, want to get better, and want to compete. So far I've tried for months to start a team that would be determined to play, practice, and win competitions. Unfortunately it is hard to find people with these same goals in mind. I don't know why it's so hard. Seeing as we play no other games but league, and there's nothing more to do that on a Sunday but play games. But this is just the beginning.

Tournament Hype

It is Friday now and only one day left until the tournament, i am nervous but excited at the same
time.
I know that at least half or a few of the registered teams are ranked players but that doesn't matter because even if we lose, we still will have fun and will be playing with our friends.

And who knows? We might get 1st or 4th. :)
Not everything can be determined so easily but what can be determined is that
we shall do our best, and we won't let anything get in our way of doing our best,
and trolling? That's blitzs job xD

In the meantime i think i will continue to practice so i can be a help to my team, and work more on our animated intro. Thanks to our captain Verdeware, we have an awesome logo, it is very beautiful, i hope i can live up to the logo and make an intro that is just as beautiful.

Update: 01

Status for February 17th of the 2015 year of our lord CHessus.

We have been waiting for years for the return of the great bambino. The time otherwise spent waiting are allocated to the theme of life and general for the peoples and ideals of the group Penta*****s. PD, the team, logo, members, company, organization, affiliation, and etc. are in complete ordination and acceptance of the terminal theme of "FBGM" These terminal logistics are as forthwardly stated:
FBGM:
**** *****es, Get Money.

A way of life.

Another way of saying Bros Before Hoes.

The word money is simply a metaphor for wealth

Surrendering

Surrendering

So I keep getting into these matches where as soon as the enemy is upon us, people start surrendering. I'm really starting to get tired of the surrender function in League of Legends. As soon as people are ready to surrender, you know that their heart is no longer in it, and their mind is no longer focused on this game; it's focused on the next. This leads to a self-fulfilling prophecy -- you aren't putting your all in it; meanwhile the enemy team is clicking away trying to ensure your demise. There are games I've refused to forfeit where we've ended up winning. Grow a backbone, take your L like a man, and go out swinging; or perhaps come out on top against all odds every now and then. But this requires the cooperation of everyone on the team, including the white-flag wavers.

Nasus the Master

So, i just played nasus for the 3rd-4th-and 5th time since i have had him.
And i did decent, i mean sure my score was averag and accross the bored they were all similar in numbers but top lane was fun with him.
In my '3rd' one i got the first blood early on after 2-3min into the game since enemy top laner
pantheon decided to 1vs1 and i owned him with spirit fire.
in the 4th one it was not as exciting and ended up being normal.
the 5th one however was the best as i easily 1vs1 cho gath in top lane and denied him any kills
whatsoever giving cho gath a clean 0/13 with 7 of those deaths being my kills.

So for now the verdict is in that i shall tank with nasus to take breaks from adc.
I'm still not going to play jinx for a while longer, she is just more difficult and less worth
the time it would take to get better at her. But whether or not i got better at her she still
is squishier than a soggy waffle at breakfast.

so for now my best line up is (in no particular order) :

Nasus

Using Your Lockdown

I've always enjoyed characters that bring lots of hard CC like Leona and Nautilus. Being able to stun lock a champion long enough for the rest of your team to clean them up feels useful in a way that just plinking away at their health bars doesn't.

That said with certain kits, Nautilus is a good example, you don't necessarily want to focus all your CC on one champion. You want to spread it around and use it to keep people from getting away. Or in the case of retreating, you can use you bulk and abilities to let as many of your people get out of a bad engage.

I found a videoclip from Stonewall008 that illustrates doing this sort of thing. Stonewall008 calls it shepherding.

The Best Ban for Each Lane!

Hello everyone I am back for another Blog. I wanted to bring you some good ideas for bans since some champs really need to be banned in this Meta or they will carry super hard, here they are!

Top Lane: Irelia
Reason: Irelia has seen a massive spike in pick percentage and for a good reason. She can thrive on being ahead, behind, or even with the other champion. Her 2 second stun, 75 true damage, and super high tenacity make her extremely hard to fight. She falls off late, so just bet on that!

Jungle: Jarvan IV
Reason: Super tanky, fast clear, amazing ganks, for more information, look into my last Blog!

Mid: Ahri
Reason: This fox has 3 dashes, a taunt, and high amounts of Magical and True Damage. Avoid fighting her and if you have to fight her, avoid her Charm and Orb. Counter her with any form of hard CC or a spell shield.

ADC: Sivir
Reason: Sivir counters a lot of ADCs, she can block spells and has massive range as well as a speed boost. Most other champs in the Meta have trouble a…
