Simple. Kill him early, if he's 0/2 early then he's not a threat. You can almost always 1v1 him. If you somehow ****ed up get an [Executioner's Calling] or [Ignite] so you can beat him up.
Ahri
One of the biggest Akali's threats, but not because of her Q's true dmg, or her E-Charm, because she can R away really far, so [Cleanse] would be one of the summoner spells to think of in champion select. If not maybe starting boots for bonus movespeed so you can dodge her skillshots early game. Late game if you use shroud properly you one shot her. If you still need something just get a [Banshee's Veil].
Akali
Playing normal games? Who does that? Anyway: Skill match-up, the better one wins.
Alistar
Here you swapped with your bot lane when the first tower from top/bot is gone. As long as you have your [Gunblade] complete you just wait in shroud to kill his ADC.
Amumu
Good ganks from this little guy. He's a jungler so I can't give too many counter options or stuff because is not about skill, is about game knowledge here so... yeah... Good luck. Wards. Controls. Tanky runes i guess?
Anivia
Hard to play against if she's good. I felt that on my own. But still if you can W when you see her Q animation she can't use her passive. Pretty easy if played correctly and you take care of her [Passive] & [W] cooldowns. Into an end is displayed: www.imgur.com/hEf7met
Annie
Hardest if played correctly, but she is not mobile like you are, remember that you have the highest moevspeed at lvl 1, and with some boots you just go for roaming if you can't outplay her. Simple! I personally prefer to take [Ignite] against her and outplay as hard as i can.
Ashe
You swapped again and you gotta kill her, as long as she doesn't have [Guardian Angel] or [Hexdrinker/Maw of Malmortius] she's too easy to deal with her, and the best is that she must build crit to do dmg so she won't have any of these items untill like 30 minutes in the game.
Aurelion Sol
Simple: Dodge his Q and he's open. Jump on him, kill him, don't let him level up, do whatever you want with him. His Q is his only tool that counters you. Is at this level because he may bring exhaust or barrier, and if played good you can still beat him, harder tho.
Azir
**** THIS GUY! Really he used to be a hard champion but you feel discriminated when you lane against him and his incredible unbalanced poke. He's such a great pick against melee champions, but still if he's not great he's open.
Bard
Lane swapped? Just dodge his Q and that's it. Take care of his R too. Done.
Blitzcrank
If casted correctly Akali's W cancel Blitz's Q. So yeah. If he uses ult too early his ADC is just free.
Brand
He used to be one hard counter to Akali, but starting with boots or just simply dodgin' his skillshots counters him. Later he won't be free because of the HP items he builds, to counter that you gotta build [Lich Bane]. Early game is all about outplaying.
Braum
Keep an eye on his passive and if your team tells you he still have ult. Croud control is just the best tool against Akali. Hide in W when you need one more hit to get stunned.
Caitlyn
One of the hardest to kill ADC if fed just because of her W that shows invisible & camouflaged champions. In teamfights you are useless if she gets peeled.
Camille
Easy to play against if you use your W when she Jumps on a wall and you kite her.
Cassiopeia
As long as you don't get killed early game all you gotta do is dodging her ult and that shouldn't be too hard since your ult blinks you BEHIND the target. And your W works on her E too.
Cho'Gath
Outplaying is the only way to deal with this big guy. Hide in W and kite him. Simple tbh.
Corki
Easy as long as he doesn't have any kind of magic resist. If he gets Hexdrinker/Maw you gotta outplay him or roam a lot.
Darius
Easy if you kite him correctly and you dodge his Q with your W or just walking away from it, or inside of it. He can feed you pretty good if he's dumb.
Diana
Hard match-up if she's ahead. Easy to outplay tho.
Dr. Mundo
[Executioner's Calling/Ignite] or just [Teleport & Kleptomancy] against this guy. Nothing more. TP plays maybe?
Draven
If he's ahead he is gonna kill your entire team, if not you just kill him first. Still: Look at his build to see if you can 1v1 him.
Ekko
Easy if you kite him from lv 2 in your shroud.
Elise
JUNGLER! TAKE CARE! WARD! FREEZE!
Evelynn
She must use her W to CC you and deals bonus dmg, you use your own W to go away from her, simple. She's also squishy, that means you are gonna kill her easy late.
Ezreal
Just don't let him get fed. Roam to bot lane, since in late you are gonna one shot him.
Fiddlesticks
Ward for his ganks. Nobody plays this guy anyway.
Fiora
As long as you dodge her W she's just free. But don't let her hit the Vitals from her Passive
Fizz
Fizz is not a hard but not an easy match-up. Is can become the hardest of your life if you don't know how to dodge his ult. As long as you dodge his ult he can't deal with you. Even with his E.
Galio
His taunt counters your shroud, but is not a threat because of that. He's a threat because he's a Magic Resist stacking champion. We needed that too, right...?
Gangplank
A good GP player is known if he runs away from your shroud (W) every time. If he does that you gotta do something else than sitting top, GO ROAM!
Garen
Almost hardest counter for Akali, but thank you riot for Kleptomancy! Now we can trade with this guy without crying while playing! And even beat him!
Gnar
I don't even know about this guy. In this new season is weird. But you can beat him if he doesn't have any sustain, or just ask for 1 gank. Simple!
Gragas
GREAT *** JUNGLER! WARD, AND TAKE CARE OF THIS GUY! IF PLAYED MID THO AND HE'S ALSO GOOD THEN U GOTTA ROAM PERMANENTLY. PUSH -> ROAM -> REPEAT
Graves
As top-laner you just kite him is shroud and you beat him up. As jungler is harder but still easy to beat.
Hecarim
Not a great jungler. He make so much noise and also cannot do **** if you're hidden in your W.
Heimerdinger
Classic counter. Not that good if you know how to outplay him with your W. You gotta learn how to use your W
Pick Smite if you play her as a jungler (Why would you do that...?)
And Heal is when you know that you gotta save your jungler when ganking. I saved many junglers that went for kills and almost got killed when i got Akali mid. I'm just used to have INTERS on my team XD
Runes
Runes
On Kleptomancy see the strategy chapter:
All viable runes from every tree with best keystones pages:
All viable runes from every tree: other runes:
Runes 2
Runes 2
Changing runes is not easy, sometimes you get behind slowly or ahead too fast, so let me explain how i take my runes for 100% use of them:
I take the kleptomancy page whenever i face a tank such as Ornn or Sion and i start with the Spellthief's Edge to make gold for items to deal dmg. Electrocute won't help you in such a match-up because they will just get 1 Ruby Crystal and suddenly your dmg is gone, but kleptmancy will help you with gold for items such as Haunting Guise or consumables such as the Travel Elixir of sorcery that also deals some true dmg.
I usually take Electrocute together with Ignite in match-ups against champions like: Vladimir/ Quinn/ Yasuo or Teemo. Most of them are ranged, so the strategy works like this: Go get electro proc, since they are ranged they can poke whenever they want to but you can't, so an ALL-IN will grant you a kill/flash/sums/recall of the enemy, that gives you a sweet advantage. Simple right?
And now the tanky page, the one with Grasp of the Undying. I take it against champions such as: Pantheon/ Renekton or Jayce. These champions can poke as their hearth wants and get out without taking too much dmg, so the resolve tree will help me survive in lane. Get that it's not a killing page, but a surviving page.
Kleptomancy Strategy
Kleptomancy Strategy
Kleptomancy Will help you get a bigger advantage on your enemy if you plan on stealing the enemy red buff.
Rule: There is one rule tho, that it works only when you are in the BLUE-SIDE on Summoner's Rifht
You can build any item from this, depending on what you need at that time. The build covers every single corner of Akali, im working at it starting from season 5 -> 6 and i'm still working at it untill is perfect.
Find me if you can, LOL! Akali marks an area by a smoke bomb, becoming invisible every time she re-enters back into it and starts moving around you, and kites you.
This is what you have to do. Use her W at it's maximum potential!
Usually when i use my W people think that i am gone from the world or something and they straight up walk into it. Here i'm kiting them. In late game i just kill them.
KITE: Atack + move. Doing so i can take the least amount of dmg & deal more dmg. Search on youtube for more.
Pros / Cons
Pros / Cons
Pros:
~Viable: Any META
~DMG Type: Hybrid
~Champion type: Hyper Carry
~She's an Assassin: that means she take down (one shots) squishy targets easy.
~Her base combo is one of the easiest in the game, and can be combined with other combos (Q+AA)
~In lane she have sustain because of the number of potions you can start with, and also because of her passive (1st strike: Heals her)
~Good counter for champions that tilt you when you play soloQ. Yasuo
~Actually she almost have no counters if played very good.
