Threats & Synergies
Blitzcrank is an easy match-up, stay with your ADC, and stay behind minions. If Blitzcrank grab you, just engage his ADC if you have the range to.
Leona is an easy match-up, you can cancel her E, just stay stuck with your ADC, and when she engage, just Flay out to cancel E, then try to engage.
New Alistar got one CC on E but his subtain is poor now, try to poke him before engage, try to time his passif ( heal ).
Zilean is kinda strong because he has tons of dmg, but he is very weak early game, try to all in him if possible.
Sona is either strong or weak, depend on the player, if she plays passive, it will be easy, if she's aggressive, it will be hard, but remember, Q on her = kill before 6
Bard roams a lot, try to all in the adc when he goes roaming.
We don't see a lot of Annie now, but still a strong champ, lot of dmg, she will 1vs1 your adc with level 6.
Braum is hard to play against because of his jump, he can just save his adc from your Q.
Janna is an easy match-up but her purpose is to peel mid-late game for the carries, try to catch her, but take care of her ult.
Karma is probably one of the hardest match-up because of the poke, the push and the shield + MS.
Lulu as Karma is hard to play against, the poke + the peel.
Lux is very squeashy but she deals a lot of dmg, don't let her snowball.
Nami is very strong because her heal is very strong, you can't out trade a good nami, wait her to waste Q then all-in.
Morgana is strong because of the blackshield and the 3 years Q, when she Q, try to bait blackshield then engage.
Nautilus is very tanky and has too many CC, he is a pain in the ass for Thresh lane.
Tahm Can just safe his adc when you Q the adc, very annoying, but your Q cd is lower than his W.
Soraka's players are just boring i swear, this champs isn't fun, you will need to all in on her, play with ignite will be good.
New Taric is very strong atm, you won't be able to do anything with his Ult, you need toi poke him then burst before ult pops up.
Mirror match-up, but with this guide, you are better :)
One of the worst match-up, the plants can interrupt your Q, and she deals too much dmg, really, just wait your jungler or all in her before her 6.
Brand still has insane dmg, his 6 will be hard for all-in, and his new passive will be hard for trade, wait your adc to scale.
Pretty much all-around ADC, his turret + Thresh's R is strong.
Always more slows and CC
Caitlyn is strong on her own (range). Good synergy with the trap but could be hard to flay in the traps => not a great soloQ synergy
Draven is very strong, aggressive Thresh will make him becoming a great Draaaaaaven
Ezreal is a safe with his E, Thresh could then roam but synergy with Ezreal isn't good till mid-game
Heimerginder can just get all his turrets near Thresh's R and just obliterate ennemies
Jhin's W allow him to root ennemies after Thresh controls, Jhin's flowers are great with Thresh's Flay
Jinx lack of mobility but her E is very strong with Thresh's controls
Kai'sa is the best ADC for now, you can use Lantern to save her after Kai'Sa's R
Kalista + Thresh is a high mobility duo, very strong
Kog'Maw need someone to peel him from ennemies, Thresh isn't the best to peel ADC
Lucian has good all-in in early, whenever Thresh Hook someone, Lucian can easily dash-in
Miss Fortune is becoming a strong pick, Lethality or Crit are strong. Thresh's controls make her viable to R in a safe way
Senna is very strong but brittle, Lantern make her pretty safe if you ward deep enough
Sivir always was a good ADC, good mobility, poke, push
Syndra is an AP bot that destroy weak ADC, past 6 you should be winning
Tristana all-in potentiel is great, you should all-in level 2
Twitch is really fragile but makes a lot of damages, better with a peeling pick
Varus lacks of mobility but his poke is decent enough to be a great pick. Past 6 you have a free engage on ennemies
Vayne's range makes her weak for now, if you can survive early game, she could carry the game because well, it's Vayne
Xayah is far better with Rakan but her E is strong with Thresh's controls
Yasuo may be a pain in the a** but he's not a bad synergy with Thresh, he can R on Thresh's Q and E
I'm Stee1Storm my main is Thresh since S3, peak elo is P1, not ranked atm.

Past the years, i've played less but here's my stats about Thresh
Thresh est un champion très polyvalent qui possède un bon kit, j'entend par la qu'il est complet, un contrôle à distance Death Sentence, son Z Dark Passage qui facilite les ganks alliés, un contrôle à coutre distance Flay et un ulti de zone The Box.
|Damnation est le passif de Thresh, il ne gagne pas d'armure par niveau cependant lorsqu'un ennemi est mort près de lui, il peut laisser une âme que Thresh peut ramasser pour gagner de l'armure et de l'AP. Les âmes restent 8 secondes et elles n'apparaissent que si Thresh se situe à moins de 2000 de portée de l'unité décédée.|
|Peine Capitale est le premier sort de Thresh, qui permet d'attraper le premier ennemi touché, en réactivant la compétence, Thresh bondit alors sur la cible.|
|Lien des Ténèbres est le second sort de Thresh, il balance sa lanterne à l'endroit visé fournissant ainsi un bouclier au premier champion allié touché. Si un champion allié clique sur la lanterne il se déplacera rapidement vers Thresh|
|Fauchage est le troisième sort de Thresh, ce sort comporte un Passif, quand Thresh n'attaque pas sa prochaine auto attaque infligera des dégats supplémentaires suivant le nombre d'âmes collectées et l'AD supplémentaire. L'Actif de ce sort permet d'attirer ou repousser les ennemies sur une courte distance tout en les ralentissant.|
|La Boîte est l'ultime sort de Thresh, ce sort permet de créer une prison autour de Thresh, chaque champions ennemis qui passent dans un des murs se trouvent ralentis et le premier ennemi subit des dégâts.|
|Flash est le sort d'invocateurs classique, vous permettra d'engage et de fuir.|
|Fatigue bien qu'ayant été nerf récemment, reste un très bon sort d'invocateur contre certains champions Zed, Akali, Katarina et autres champions à burst. Si votre midlaner possède déjà , vous pourrez vous en passer.|
|Embrasement est un sort qui revient beaucoup à la place de l' , il est plus puissant en lane surtout si vous jouez aggressif ( avec par exemple. Il vous permet de réduire les soins adverses ( utile contre Soraka notamment.|

is good when you want to trade of all-in ( against poke lane)
is great to get tankier along the game

Get both is a great start,
bit of tankiness and
mobility enough to pick-up fight bot lane and ward safely
Do not forget
You can even upgrade to if you used all your potions
Less than 500 Gold
Depend on the opponent lane and your golds
|Good choice when your team already have great engage, you can then peel your allies and get some MR|
|Strong boots vs AD based team|
|This item is powerful, but heal based. If you ADC need and cleanse, he should get it'll be easier to self cleanse|
|Still a good item for siege and teamfight|
|Alright, this one is situation but one of the best item. It give you MR + Armor and the active can turn a teamfight in your favor|
Whatever your items are, get to 40% CDR
In laning phase, lvl 2 Flay is enough to harass and poke the ennemies.
Max Death Sentence is still the best option because it give us CDR on the spell itself.

Blue Side : Early game before T1 down
Red Side : Early game before T1 down
Death Sentence is a 2 times spell, first you land the hook, then if it hit Thresh rush on the ennemy.
We can cancel the 2nd activation by flashing then engage with Flay et The Box
Classic one but whenever an ally take Dark Passage you can and Dark Passage will follow your , you can then have more range to escape/engage
This is cringe right, it won't happens to you, check this :
(You only have to found the snail and put the ward between his shell and his head)
How to play Thresh with your team.
☷☷☷ LANING PHASE ☷☷☷
Thresh is a good all-around support, you should roam when :
1. Whenever you lane is pushed and the ADC backed, go ward in the river/jungle and roam near your mid lane. Ward Drake if it's up.
2. Whenever opponents pushed and your minions are under tower, if he can last hits solo, ward defensive to make your ADC safe and go roam (ADC should freeze). Take care for dive
☷☷☷ MID GAME (leaving your lane) ☷☷☷
Once you have left your lane, try to ward depending on the ennemy team :
1. If they're defending, place offensive wards, vice-versa if they're pushing.
2. Keep an eye for Drakes/Heralds/Nashor timers, you should always get vision around the spawn (do not facecheck, ask your team to use )
☷☷☷ TEAMFIGHT ☷☷☷
In teamfight you have 2 options :
1. Peeling your carries, using your spells to keep your carries alive and safe, easier to say
2. You can engage on the ennemy team, you must catch an ennemy carry. You should not engage tanks
