Many people say Yi is easy to play blah blah blah, well he is, but he is hard to master. Now onto gameplay. Remember, I am here to teach you how to play Yi Mid, not jungle. I personally think he is more fun and more useful in the Mid lane rather than in the jungle.

During laning phase, you want to get hits off your enemy as much as possible. A lot of times at level one, the enemy doesn't deal too much damage which is your perfect opportunity to get a few auto attacks in. Ideally, you would want to get them to half health.

When it comes to roaming, it is best to hit level 6 first;However, if for example you see a free double kill in bot lane that can be secured with a simple alpha strike then go ahead.
