Champion Build Guide
1) With Blade of the ruin king, you will want to take this into tank/bruiser matchups where all-in are unavoidable/unescapable or where you will win with high certainty. Botrk will give you a lot of dueling power (what it's supposed to do) so use it well to get ahead in lane and use your gold lead to buy tank items to prepare for teamfights. You should be comfortable doing small-scale scuttle / gank fights but it is not optimal to enter full team fights with just Botrk. This synergizes well with PTA / Conqueror.
2) With Essence Reaver, the logic behind this is the mana refund and the large damage spike it provides to your Q. When you will have built this item, your Q is essentially free since it will refund the same mana your Q uses. This allows you to Q minions for *massive* sustain. Poked to 20%? Q a melee minion to get back to 70% with full mana. You will be spamming Q pokes at this point and all-in when the enemy is low. This synergizes well with grasp.
?) With both builds you have lane sustain from minions (lifesteal from Botrk and manaless Q's from essence reaver). They excel both at doing different things, think about your lane and matchup and consider whether pokes or all-ins are better for winning lane. You can think about this just like the new Ezreal builds - taking Botrk usually against tanky comps and essence reaver against squishy comps. Essence reaver at this point is very forgiving with the amount of essentially infinite sustain it provides, but take note at heavily reduced team-fighting potential and being even more squishy than a Botrk build.
Think I have enough information up there. Don't think anyone really needs a basic Warwick guide with all the other ones already out there. Feedback welcome, let me know if this works for you.
