Who is Jur***iq?

I am a Challenger ADC main from North America. I have played in various professional teams such as Golden Guardians, Liyab Esports, RadianceGG and etc. I have also played/won tournaments such as getting 1st in the "Tyler1 Championship Series 2018", 3rd, 2nd, and 2nd in 3 "Twitch Rivals" this year, and Qualified for the 2018 Scouting Grounds as the number 1 seed for ADC.

I have hit Challenger from Season 6 to 10 and have been playing the game for almost 6 years now. I have peaked @ Challenger 1000lp in North America and have held Top 10 almost every season. I am mostly known for my aggresive playstyle and positioning.

VARUS GUIDE

Summoner Spells

Heal/ Flash(Most Basic) What you will be running 95% of the time. Flash saves you from a lot situations and with Varus being an ADC without any escapes, this is a must.

Heal is another summoner spell to get you out of tough situations where you need extra HP or the extra movement speed.

Cleanse/ Flash(Optional) Cleanse is another summoner spell that you can change out Heal for. When against champions with a lot of CC especially in the bot lane, this is a must. Champions I take Cleanse when I am against are the likes of Leona/ Ashe/ Thresh/etc.

ON-HIT Build/Abilities/Runes Explained

Item Builds Explanation

You have a core of 3 items then after it is situational

Your 3 core items are:

1st item either Kraken Slayer or Galeforce

Go Kraken Slayer for the most part since you usually play front to back when playing Varus. This helps you deal with tanks and bruisers in teamfights.

Go Galeforce if they only have 1 tank or 1 champ stacking HP. Gives you an extra escape tool and gap closer.

2nd Item is either Phantom Dancer or Runaan's Hurricane

Go Phantom Dancer when you're going to be dealing with singular targets most of the game. Like for example if you're against mostly assasins and etc.

Go Runaan's Hurricane if you're going to be hitting multiple targets in teamfights/front to back team comps/mostly bruisers/tanks.

3rd item is always Infinity Edge

Best 3rd item for crit adc's since Varus go crit now it's the best and only option as his 3rd item. This is a huge spike especially mid-late game in terms of your damage output.

The 4th and 5th items are pretty situational. Lord Dominik's Regards/ Guardian Angel can be exchanged for items like Mortal Reminder/ Blade of the Ruined King/ Bloodthirster/ Mercurial Scimitar.

Abilities

You want to start Hail of Arrows Lvl 1 as it guarantees you early poke and shove lvl 1 then go Blighted Quiver next into Piercing Arrow 3rd. From there you just max Piercing Arrow as it is your main damage source then Blighted Quiver after since you are on hit and it increases your auto damage. Level Chain of Corruption up whenever you can.

Runes

Runes are pretty straightforward.

The first part of your Rune is Precision, specifically Lethal Tempo. This is the rune of choice as it helps you deal consistent damage as your main source of dps are your auto attacks. You take Presence of Mind as your source of Mana. Varus uses a good amount of mana so Presence of Mind helps that need. Legend: Bloodline is taken instead of Legend: Alacrity since the build does not build any item that has lifesteal early-mid game so this is your main source of lifesteal. Coup de Grace is your last choice under the Precision tree as it helps you deal more damage to targets that have low health, but can also be changed to Cut Down if against a lot of tanks or bruisers.

The second part of your rune is Inspiration. This is the go to rune of choice as it helps you get through early laning phase( Biscuit Delivery in lane) and helps you reach your item spikes faster with the free Magical Footwear.

For Shards you go Attack speed for Slot 1, Adaptive for Slot 2, then Armor/MR depending on your lane match up for Slot 3.
