Champion Build Guide

[12.4] - Australian Troll

By SupaSnor
Introduction
Hi! And welcome to my first guide, which i'm writing because i'm bored.
I'm SupaSnor, been playing this game since season 2 and wasted just a little bit to much time on this game... like most of us.
Why i'm writing a sol guide? Well because its my favorite champion in the game ofcourse, with a different playstyle than 99% of the champions in game, and if played well its just really fun!

At some point i was ranked 150th Asol in the world according to LoLskill, might have even been higher but i stopped checking at some point.

From the moment i first played him and was able to launch bombs the size of the enemy base i knew i loved this champ, i started ranked with him and went on a instant 18 winstreak rampage, from there i worked my way up to diamond!

But everything changed when the nerfs attacked.

First they nerfed the homeguard you got from base, which helped you create massive bombs, than they deleted the boots upgrades like alacrity, which took away some movement speed options from sol, after that they ofcourse nerfed sol himself, increasing his mana cost on W and lowering the base damage, that lead to not being able to shove your wave in real fast in the early levels (which was one of his major strenghts) making him almost unplayable for some time.

Well than finally, rito did something good, they changed his Q so you where able to detonate it instanly, for less stun time (or more the longer you travel) but a great way to keep the sticky guys away from you, and a few patches later they changed his W to make him more of a burst champ with a pretty good kiting kit which makes him way more viable in the current meta.

So now here we are just writing down some dumb stuff for random people to read, just to teach them how to destroy people with your balls of fury.
Summoner spells

Do you even Flash bro?!
No discussion here, its just the numbero uno summoner spell in the game.
Being able to engage or escape far exceeds the other summoner spells.

I mainly use this as my 2nd summoner spell.
This gives you your early game kill potential, get them low with your balls, than finish them of with some FIRE.

My 2nd choice, i only use this for the annoying burst assasins who love standing inside of you and deal allot of damage in a small amount of time, like fizz, zed etc. 1 exhaust takes away 40% of their damage, and leaves them vulnerable.

This one is really situational, but its an easy pick if you play vs a Veigar who relies on his E to hit most of his damage, if he flashes with E to setup a jungle gank, you can just walk out with cleanse, its only 210 seconds cooldown vs 300 for flash.

Well cant really say its one of the summoner spells i would pick up to fast, ofcourse it can be strong on sol, but your stars aren't consistent damage anymore, also as the movement speed builds up, it might be kinda hard to position yourself.

Not bad but also not great on sol, especially now tp is nerfed, its an easy way to get back to mid if you just ganked bot but i'd much rather have the extra lane pressence ignite gives as you just dont have that much damage early game.
Runes
I'm not gonna discuss all the runes here, just some i feel like explaining.

From the moment Asol was released he was great with Thunderlords decree, now Electrocute is basicly the same with a longer cd. The game sees all 3 of Asol's "balls" as a separate spell, so its easy to prog electrocute in combination with an aa or q to win fast trades.

Well... never actually tried it on sol, but it sounds like fun. You'll only lose some lane pressence but it might work really well especially after the last couple of buffs (its nerfed again but still).

Absolutely not my favorite one, you go fast for a short amount of time, so yeah you can reposition and stuff, but as your W now gives you movement speed the moment you dissable it or when the duration is over, its just as good as phase rush imo, never liked this rune even when it was "meta" on sol, you just lose to much lane pressence as your damage early isnt really that great.

One of my favorites! Madafking out of combat movement speed, you are the midlane champ with one of the best roaming kits in the whole game, but your E has a massive cooldown and no longer builds up movement speed while traveling in a straight line, so when your E is down you're gonna want to be able to move around fast. Getting 5 stacks on this badboy basicly gives you the mobi boots passive, all else fades in the face of SPEED. You're also gonna want this rune to be able to trow bombs all the way to the enemy base in the late game.

**** Tyrone why are you so greedy for these 20 gold coins DuDe, well i love money, anyway thats not what this rune is all about, you are a midrange mage that needs to get a little bit to close for comfort some times, so if you get 12% missing health in the middle of a teamfight that could just save your life and make you win the teamfight, it did multiple times for me anyway.

yeye *insert unpopular opinion penguin*, i know everyone in league just loves Coup de Grace, but have you ever looked at the end game stats? have you ever been blasted away by the fact that you did THAT much damage with Coup de Grace? NO! i mean its extra damage alright, but you could also have ANOTHER 30% Tenacity, i mean for a champion that doesnt like to stop moving thats sounds like a great deal! Together with Relentless hunter you basicly get mercury treads and mobiboots without buying them!
Big Boy Bombs!
The Soviet RDS-202 hydrogen bomb (code name Ivan[3] or Vanya), known by Western nations as Tsar Bomba (Russian: Царь-бо́мба, tr. Tsar'-bómba, IPA: [t͡sarʲ ˈbombə], lit. 'Tsar bomb'), was allegedly the most powerful nuclear weapon ever created. Tested on 30 October 1961 as an experimental verification of calculation principles and multi-stage thermonuclear weapon designs, it also remains the most powerful man-made explosive ever detonated.

The bomb was detonated at the Sukhoy Nos ("Dry Nose") cape of Severny Island, Novaya Zemlya, 15 km (9.3 mi) from Mityushikha Bay, north of Matochkin Strait.[4][5][6] The detonation was secret but was detected by US Intelligence agencies. The US apparently had an instrumented KC-135R aircraft (Operation SpeedLight[7]) in the area of the test, close enough to have been scorched by the blast.[2][8]

The bhangmeter results and other data suggested the bomb yielded about 58 megatons of TNT [Mt] (240 PJ),[9] and that was the accepted yield in technical literature until 1991 when Soviet scientists revealed that their instruments indicated a yield of 50 Mt (210 PJ).[2] As they had the instrumental data and access to the test site, their yield figure has been accepted as more correct.[2][8] In theory, the bomb would have had a yield in excess of 100 Mt (420 PJ) if it had included a uranium-238 tamper, but because only one bomb was built, that capability has never been demonstrated.

The remaining bomb casings are located at the Russian Atomic Weapon Museum in Sarov and the Museum of Nuclear Weapons, All-Russian Research Institute of Technical Physics, at Snezhinsk.

So the Soviets thought they created the biggest bomb known to mankind, untill Asol showed up, ready to bomb his enemies with the universe he just created.

Asol's Q grows bigger the farther it goes, so you need to keep up with your miniature universe which travels at 6 teemo's per second by default.

Now with the latest changes to his Q, W and E trowing these bombs became a little easier.

Sorry Vicksy copy'd this from your guide.

Passive - Center of the Universe

Base damage lowered from 20/23/26/29/32/35/40/45/50/55/60/70/80/90/100/110/120/130 to 16/18/20/22/24/27/30/35/40/45/50/60/70/80/90/100/110/120
AP ratio changed from 0.18-0.35 (levels 1-8) to 0.25 AP
Ability-inhibiting crowd control no longer cancels Center of the Universe

Q - Starsurge

Cooldown changed from 10 seconds to 11/10/9/8/7
Movement speed while casting increased from 10% to 20%
The star will now keep up with Aurelion Sol if he is faster than the star

W - Celestial Expansion

When activated, Aurelion Sol's stars push out to the outer limit with increased damage and rotating at a high, but decaying speed. After 3 seconds or upon reactivating the ability, the stars will retract and grant Aurelion Sol 40% movement speed, decaying over 1.5 seconds
Cooldown changed from 6/5.5/5/4.5/4 seconds ⇒ 8/6.5/5/3.5/2 seconds
Mana cost changing from 40 mana on cast + 22/24/26/28/30 mana per second it's activated ⇒ 70/80/90/100/110 mana on cast

E - Comet of Legend

[REMOVED passive] - Aurelion Sol no longer gains bonus movement speed when moving in the same direction for a period of time
Range increased from 3000/4000/5000/6000/7000 ⇒ 5500/6000/6500/7000/7500
Cooldown increased 60/55/50/45/40 seconds ⇒ 80/75/70/65/60 seconds
Speed increased from 600 ⇒ 600/650/700/750/800

So the easiest way to trow these "LaneBombs" is to start in base when you received homeguard, pick a location, launch your Q and Click Play, follow it for as long as you can, (remember that you can toggle your W for some small movement speed boosts) untill the middle dot of your Q is reaching your outer edge* (the circle at which your W turns around you while active) this is the maximum distance your Q can travel away from you, at that moment use your E to travel with your Q, to get to the maximum distance, you're also gonna want to use E to travel accros the jungle when you want to bomb Baron or Dragon.

But ofcourse the most fun thing to do is to trow it all the way accros midlane, into the enemy base, when you arrive at the enemy base your Q will be half the size of their base, giving the enemy little time and space to escape, flashes will be burned and the people unfortunate enough to get caught in the blast will be stunned for almost as long as a Morgana Q, sounds like you just won the teamfight?
