Hello everyone! We almost reached 1000 views. Thats crazy. Thank you all for taking a look. So in this update I tried to add all the matchups I could think of, along with more item sets and more info about specific matchups. Im excited to say that Im planing to do even more stuff on the guide, along with some combos and more. So, please let me explain. Why would you play Sett?

Sett is quite different from other toplaners. A few share the same thing that makes him a quite hard champ outside laning phase to pilot. You guessed it. His 0 movility. There are indeed a lot better options to play than Sett, such as Riven, Renekton, Jax, and other toplaners with more mobility and interesting gamestyles. BUT. Lets be real. Who doesnt like the 3000k true damage Haymaker on enemy team after using The Show Stopper and getting a triple kill? I bet you like it. This is where Sett shines on. One ability, well used, can change the game. Can make a losing teamfight a winning one. Can make a 1v3 end on a triple kill on sidelane. This champion has a big potential, appart from an amazing model and skins which we will take a look now:







Lets be honest. Sett doesnt have an ugly skin. For me, every single one of them are amazing, along with some chromas, that add such a nice variaty of colors and little easter eggs. For me, he has one of the best default models of all game. So even playing with it feels really refreshing. The new skins that he has been getting are bangers, but in my honest opinion, my favorite one BY FAR its Soul Fighter Sett . The colors, the recal, animations, his chromas. Are just excelent and fits him so amazingly, it feels smooth and retro as well. Kinda reminded me of Super Smash Bros.

A leader of Ionia’s growing criminal underworld, Sett rose to prominence in the wake of the war with Noxus. Though he began as a humble challenger in the fighting pits of Navori, he quickly gained notoriety for his savage strength, and his ability to take seemingly endless amounts of punishment. Now, having climbed through the ranks of local combatants, Sett has muscled to the top, reigning over the pits he once fought in.

Ionians, who had only recently been conditioned for war, flocked to the arena, paying to satisfy an urge they only now knew they possessed. Sett took full advantage of their newfound bloodlust, accumulating wealth and power beyond his wildest boyhood dreams, as he transformed the pit into the hub of an underground empire of gambling and vice.

The half-beast who reigned supreme in the pit now runs his illicit enterprises with the same iron fist. Any time someone challenges his authority, he personally reminds them where they stand. Every punch Sett throws is a blow to his old life of poverty and ostracism, and he intends to make sure that old life stays down.

We also know he has some sort of relation with Alistar and Draven (ITS NOT HIS FATHER)

And of course, everything he did, it was for his Ma. Full respect for The Boss.

PROS:
- He excels at dueling, has strong sustain, and his ultimate ability offers great outplay potential, along with his beautiful W Haymaker
- Can be built as a bruiser or tank
- Mid/Low Difficulty
- Counter-jungling potential (Fight enemy jungle with/or without your jungler on the early levels)
- He is great at engaging on teamfights: Facebreaker , The Show Stopper
- Is a best in 1v1s, you will win in most cases if well played


CONS:
- Limited mobility, reliance on landing his W Haymaker , and vulnerability to kiting
- After using his abilities, he is quite bad on teamfights
- High cooldowns
- Vulnerable in laning phase to ganks if he pushes too much, specially if no summs are up (You cant always doble kill sadly)
- Can strugle too much into high mobility/cc teamcomps
- Kinda Iteam reliant, specially of Stridebreaker

Pit Grit

PASSIVE

Sett's basic attacks alternate between left and right punch. Right punch is slightly stronger and faster. Sett also hates losing, gaining additional health regeneration based off of his missing health.

Knuckle Down

Q ABILITY


Sett's next two attacks deal additional damage based off of the target's max health. Sett also gains Move Speed while moving towards enemy champions.

Haymaker

W ABILITY


Sett passively stores damage he takes as Grit. On cast, Sett expends all stored Grit to gain a shield and punch an area, dealing true damage in the center and physical damage on the sides.

Facebreaker

E ABILITY


Sett pulls in all enemies on opposite sides of him, dealing damage and stunning them. If enemies were only on one side, they are slowed instead of stunned.

The Show Stopper

ULTIMATE (R) ABILITY


Sett carries an enemy champion through the air and slams them into the ground, dealing damage and slowing all enemies near where they land.

Sett is one of the strongest early game champions due to his high damage early and sustain. He can be very aggressive in lane, especially at levels 1 to 3, and his level 6 powerspike allows for strong ganking potential with other engaging junglers.

You kinda want to play super aggresive on almost every matchup (not ranged ofc), and zone the enemy champion from the 6 first minions worth of xp. Your level up timers are insane, specially your 2 and 3. You can roam to early fights with your jungler, since you will probably win and get a bigger early lead than the one you already have with him.

Dont use W Haymaker if its not charged enough, since his W level 1 has a 18 seconds cooldown, and enemy top can harrass you on that period of time. Try to always hold your E Facebreaker to secure your W Haymaker which is super high damage combo in general.

For me, you should always splitpush, since no one can fight you 1v1, forcing enemy team to go to you, making your team have free objectives or other bounties around the map.

You want as well force fights, specially after level 13, when your ult The Show Stopper and your W Haymaker do quite big damage if well used

Overhall you kinda just want to expand your lead alone, with your team, and scale as well, since late game is a very important phase for Sett

This phase can be either EZ or HARD for Sett, depending of how you played the game, the items you have and how your team is doing.

At this point, you will only fight for objectives. Try to focus to ult The Show Stopper the BIG HP champ, such as Dr. Mundo , Cho'Gath and so on.

If you are not able to do so, try to get most of the enemies damage, ult The Show Stopper to reach the backline and W Haymaker them, specially if you have your Flash up

Remember to play smart, for angles and oportunities. Pacience on this stage of the game is crutial. YOU can change the game if you execute your combo correctly.
