Introduction

Hi! I'm a Zed main, and I hope you guys will learn and enjoy this.

Pros and cons

+ Amazing early game
+ Easy to farm with, caster minions
+ Easy poke
+ Amazing gap closer/escape
+ Satisfying and fun to play
Zed is the best carries in the game. Which means he can rape the carries and then carry. His early game is amazing, and he is a amazing pre-6 duelist. His W lets me escape very easily and is shadow abilities allow him for great outplay potential. He is very fun to play when played at a high level.

Cons

+ Weak to CC
+ Must be pro to play
+ Can run out of energy and screw you up
+ Zhonyas and QSS counter him hard.
+ If you screw up in a team fight it can cost the game.
+ Hard to master
+ Sucks late game
+ Deletes the ADC
+ Good at outplaying people
Zed is very squishy if he does not go crit build and his autos don't do too much, and if Zed gets caught with CC he is usually dead, that's why you build Mercurial Scimitar and Mercury Treads. He rely's on his Death Mark to get a kill, and can't do much to a tank.

Build Guide

You always wanna get ghostblade first, other than that you can get Mercurial Scimitar before Ravenous Hydra if necessary. But if you prefer being auto attack/dps ZED than you should go crit, but if your playing assassin zed go the first build. He is very vulnerable to cc, he is useless when cc but that's why you build Mercurial Scimitar and Mercury Treads, just like I said in the pros and cons. I prefer deaths dance over bloodthrister because on burst zed, abilities don't get affected by life steal, but for deaths dance you heal on them, and you heal a **** ton when your death mark pops. You could either take You could either take this or Mercurial Scimitar, if there team has too much CC just take Mercurial Scimitar, but if they don't have a lot just take Lord Dominkik's Regards or Mortal Reminder but if there team has a lot of CC just take Mercurial Scimitar, but if they don't have a lot take Lord Dominkik's Regards, but if they have Mundo or Volibear, etc take Mortal Reminder.

Summoner Spells

Flash: There is no reason to not take this, its the best SS in the game, it can be used to outplay, juke, gap closer, escape, etc.
Ignite: Good Kill pressure and potential with this, can take others SS but this is highly recommended.
Cleanse:When facing hard CC team.

Skills

Max R>Q>E>W
On every champion you would wanna max your ult first, its the best skill on any champion, and you wanna max q first since its your main combo, then e, then w, since w does not do much but grant you more AD.

Masteries

For the Cunning tree Savagery is too good to give up and Wanderer is really a support mastery since you will be laning most of the time,Assassin is a wayyyy to good to give us it gives 2% increase way is insane, Merciless is a now brainer, Zed does not use mana. Now precision or Intelligence, this one is a preference I like Precision because armor pen is a very important stat on Zed. And Thunder Lords decree is like the best mastery right now and synergies very well with zed, since W,E double Q can proc it, and if you missed a Q just w over there and slap him for heavy damage. And for the Ferocity Tree, I don't like attack speed on Zed very much and it's only 4%, Feast is too good right now, 25 hp is very much early game. Many people think Natural Talent is better but its only 10 ad, 2% life steal is pretty good!, and for the final one its all about preference, if you snowball more with zed take Bounty Hunter, but if your more passive then take Oppressor.

Runes

Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage: Zed is an AD champion and needs AD for damage
Attack damage runes: Same thing, needs AD
Heath Runes: Hp op, helps you survive in the early game if your facing hard match up, and theres really nothing better
Cdr runes: Nothing really better, but you could take armor/magic resis runes if you want, but cdr runes are more offensive.

Spells

Contempt for the Weak

Zed's basic attacks against targets below 50% Health deal 6-10% of the target's maximum Health as bonus Magic Damage. This effect can only occur once every 10 seconds on the same target.

Razor Shuriken

Cost: 75/70/65/60/55 Energy
Range: 900

Zed and his shadow both throw their spinning blades forward, dealing damage to any targets they pass through.

Zed and his shadows throw their shurikens, each dealing 75/115/155/195/235 (+100% bonus Attack Damage) physical damage to the first enemy they pass through, and 45/69/93/117/141 (+60% bonus Attack Damage) physical damage to each additional enemy.Additional shurikens that hit the same enemy deal 50% less damage than the previous shuriken.

Living Shadow

Cost: 40/35/30/25/20 Energy
Range: 650

Zed's shadow dashes forward, remaining in place for 4 seconds, and mimicking his spell casts. Zed can reactivate to swap places with the shadow. Zed's Attack Damage is passively increased.

Passive: Grants 5/10/15/20/25% additional bonus Attack Damage (+0).Zed's shadow dashes forward, remaining in place for 4 seconds. Reactivating Living Shadow will cause Zed to switch positions with this shadow.Zed's shadows mimic his abilities. If an ability strikes any target twice, Zed restores 20/25/30/35/40 energy. Energy can only be restored once per mimicked ability.

Shadow Slash

Cost: 50 Energy
Range: 290

Zed and his shadow spin their blades, creating a burst of shadow energy. The shadow's spin slows.

Zed and his shadow slash, dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+80% bonus Attack Damage) physical damage to nearby enemies. Each enemy champion hit by Zed's Shadow Slash reduces Living Shadow's cooldown by 2 seconds. Each enemy hit by a mimicked Shadow Slash will be slowed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 1.5 seconds.Enemies hit by both Shadow Slashes will be slowed by 30/37.5/45/52.5/60% but will not take additional damage.

Death Mark

Cost: No Cost
Range: 625

Zed leaves a shadow behind and dashes to target Champion, marking them for death. After 3 seconds, the mark will trigger, dealing a percentage of the damage Zed has dealt while the mark was active.

Zed briefly becomes untargetable and spawns a shadow at his location that lasts for 6 seconds. He then dashes to target champion and marks them for death. After 3 seconds, the mark will trigger, dealing physical damage equal to 100% Attack Damage plus 30/40/50% of all Magic and Physical Damage dealt to the target by Zed and his shadows while the mark was active. After 0.5 seconds Zed can reactivate Death Mark, causing Zed to switch positions with this shadow.

Farming

So easy since your passive "Contempt for the Weak" "Zed's basic attacks against targets below 50% Health deal 6-10% of the target's maximum Health as bonus Magic Damage. This effect can only occur once every 10 seconds on the same target." and the best thing is that you can kill the caster minion with one hit after a tower shot, thanks to Zed's passive.

TeamWork/Teamfights

All you have to do is ult the ADC and successfully kill her, and your team already won that teamfight, just make sure to time your Mercurial Scimitar correctly so you don't screw up your team and die.
