Hi, I'm a Platinum Shaco Main. I'm big into assassins and mind game oriented playstyles. I'm going to run you down How I play Shaco in my first MobaFire guide.

For the Domination tree we can choose any of the three keystones. My preference is Electrocute, it's easy to proc and gives you a lot of burst, Dark harvest seems to be only relevant late game for Shaco, however Shaco is unable to effectively use the dark harvest resets. I'd recommend avoiding predator because if you have good positioning the movespeed will not matter much and electrocute will provide more damage for you. I would heavily recommend ghost poro over eyeball collector, eyeball is a scaling 0-30 ad which seems nice but the vision dominance ghost poro provides is essential in higher elo, use eyeball collector if you are in lower elo as people don't look at the map but in higher elo the vision is just too damn good to avoid.

I personally like Inspiration for the free boots (350g worth) and approach velocity combos well with your E passive. These make for an easy way to secure the damage from electrocute as they can't escape so easily. You can use precision for Coup de Grace(which works well with your e) and Triumph or Legend:alacrity. You can also take Sorcery and take Transcendence if you are going over cdr cap. Celerity if you intend to go with stuff like predator, triforce, swiftness boots. Absolute focus if you rush life steal(because typically when clearing jungle and ganking you end up below 70% hp) however this doesn't feel effective till mid/late. Scorch is also a good option and gathering storm is ok but not that good.

I like starting machete and rejuvenation bead. I find my sustain is good enough without pots. Next I go with warrior enchantment for either blue or red jungle item. Both work it's typically your preference. Tiamat is built now or before finishing jungle item depending on preference. once both are complete is when you can farm a whole lot better, with the buff to jungle items for clearing this season I get it before Tiamat but only time will tell which is smarter. I usually throw in boots between these two items, zerks and mobis are my favorite and atm zerks feels really good because of approach velocity, the mobis lose speed in combat which makes for difficult chasing, and late game when I got for a one shot i can get multiple autos off quicker. I think both are perfectly fine though. Next we want Shaco's favorite item, duskblade. From here you have options, I like going IE however it is very expensive so if I'm behind I'll get another serrated dirk item or statikk and then get IE. adapt as you play and get what you need, by 4th - 5th item I really like getting GA, it let's me make plays I usually couldn't make and also allows you to engage for your team which is really good when your team is slow on the engages.

You can take 3 points in q early for better invis or you can just max e first for better dueling however your ganks are going to be a bit more difficult to pull off but definitely still viable, just positioning is even more important.

When ganking aim for decieving and getting behind the enemy a quick auto backstab, tiamat, auto, shiv is a fantastic combo and will proc electrocute. You can also Q get behind them, ulti, auto, tiamat, auto, shiv while your clone autos as well, this is how you typically one shot late game, if you can one shot without clone save it for avoiding spellshots.
