Malphite
Malphite is the bane to Kayle in the top lane, you can't even sit by your tower against him. He also has an Attack Speed Debuff. And usually rushes frozen heart against you. Malphite should be your #1 ban when playing Kayle. In this matchup, max W first. Malphite's goal in the laning phase is to poke you to 25% HP. And then once he reaches level 6 spike you are completely fucked. What makes this worse is that good Malphite players don't even ult engage you. They only ult if you flash.
Synergies
Introduction
Kayle is a DPS hybrid champion that uses damage and utility to support her allies in battle. Because of how flexible Kayle is, you can play practically any role with her, as well as build many different ways according to your situation. If played correctly, Kayle should be a one way ticket to diamond for you. If not, then you should at least make it to Gold III.
Runes
GLYPHS
I go with 3 Attack Speed Glyphs to get that 15.4 Attack Speed that 9 Attack Speed Marks give. This grants more space for Attack Damage Marks. I go with 6 Ability Power Glyphs for bonus damage on my Q and E. Some Kayle players use Scaling Cooldown Reduction Glyphs, but I think 30% Cooldown Reduction is enough. And if you REALLY need 40% Cooldown Reduction. Buy a Lich Bane.
MARKS
I go with 9 Attack Damage Marks for early harass. This makes my basic attacks deal more damage. And since Kayle's Q has a 100% BONUS AD ratio (plus Fervor Of Battle giving bonus AD) this makes your Q deal more damage.
SEALS
I go 9 Flat Mana Regeneration Seals so that I can use my spells more in lane (because I like lane pressure.) If you don't wan't to take these then go with Scaling Armor Seals. Since Kayle has great Armor in the late game.
QUINTS
I go with 3 Attack Speed Quintessences. This is a no-brainer on auto attack based champions.
This makes you able to dish out trades in less time. If you wan't more burst damage, then you can go with Flat Ability Power Quintessences. Although I think AD Marks is enough.
These are the runes I go because I like playing a more Lane Harass Kayle.
Summoner Spells
God Spells
This is viable on every champion, and with Kayle it's recommended.
This is great in High Elo (Plat III+)
If you are in Bronze to Gold III, hands down take Ignite.
The Okay Spells
You already have Movement Speed.
This was one hell of a summoner spell. Until Riot got rid of the shred/attack speed debuff.
The Dogsh&t Summoners
Purely Situational. But wait...Kayle benefits from pretty much every item in the game. That means you can just buy a Mercerial Scimitar.
Hehe...double Divine Blesing OP. This will totally win my bronze promos.
