Hello MobaFire,

My name is Hotrod08(NA), and I am a Diamond IV Support player coming out of Season 7. I create weekly build videos (as well as other support-focused content), and am going to post MobaFire builds on here for each release of a new guide that I put out.

This MobaFire guide is going to feature Nunu & Willump, which will be based on buffing his ADC to the maximum, providing tons of peel, and act as a means of initiation for the team.

Primary Path:

Resolve
Guardian (Keystone): Give you and your ADC extra protection during the laning phase. If not necessary and you'd like extra initiation durability, take Aftershock instead.
Font of Life: Extra sustain to your ADC and your team throughout the game. Pairs with Ardent Censer to give team-wide buff.
Chrysalis: Extra health while laning + 15AP once you get 4 kills/assists. You can take Second Wind as replacement if you expect to get poked down a lot in the laning phase.
Revitalize: Gives extra sustain and regen to both yourself and your ADC using Relic Shield and Consume. You can take Unflinching if you need the Tenacity instead.

Secondary Path:

Sorcery
Celerity: Extra movement speed and AP.
Gathering Storm: Nunu & Willump have great AP ratios, and Gathering Storm gives a lot of AP to complement those ratios.

Nunu & Willump scale with AP and works well with durability, so we are going to start off with a bit of AP and then switch to durability.

In-Game Build:
-Start Relic Shield, Health Potion x2 and Stealth Ward
-Upgrade to Targon's Brace
- Mobility Boots
- Ardent Censer
- Remnant of the Aspect
- Turbo Chemtank
Finish off with either Zeke's Convergence, Knight's Vow, Locket of the Iron Solari, Shurelya's Battlesong, Twin Shadows, Morellonomicon, and/or Zhonya's Hourglass.

PASSIVE: Call Of The Freljord

Damaging enemy champions, large monsters, or structures increases the attack and movement speed of Willump and a nearby ally for a few seconds (prioritizing the ally with the highest attack speed).

While Willump hears the Call of the Freljord, his basic attacks cleave the immediate area for a portion of the damage.

Q: Consume

Willump takes a bite out of an enemy, dealing true damage to monsters and minions or magic damage to champions, and heals himself.

The heal is increased significantly when Nunu & Willump are low on health.

W: Biggest Snowball Ever!

Willump starts rolling a snowball that grows in size and speed. Crashing the snowball into a wall, enemy champion, or large monster damages and knocks up nearby enemies. Reactivating the ability sends the snowball forward in straight line, damaging and knocking up minions in addition to champions and monsters.

The damage and duration of the knockup increases with the size of the snowball.

E: Snowball Barrage

Nunu rapidly flings up to three volleys of snowballs for a few seconds, damaging champions and monsters and marking them Snowbound. Enemies hit by all three snowballs in a volley are briefly slowed.

When Snowball Barrage ends, all Snowbound enemies near Nunu & Willump are briefly rooted.

R: Absolute Zero

Nunu & Willump sap heat from the area around them, gaining a shield and increasingly slowing enemies as they channel. Enemies still in the freezing zone when it reaches absolute zero take massive damage, increased based on the length of the channel.

Absolute Zero can be cancelled early, and channeling from brush or fog of war won’t reveal Nunu & Willump.

With Nunu & Willump, you'll want to Lv. 1 go W, since it's your best harrass/initiate, Lv. 2 E since it's your reliable disengage, and at Lv. 3 go Consume, since it's your best sustain damage ability. If you're taking extra harrass early and need health, go Lv. 2 Q/Lv. 3 E instead. Max W for extra initiate damage, then Q, then E. Upgrade your Ultimate at Lv. 6/11/16.

Will Nunu & Willump Be Viable As Support?

Nunu & Willump is a very interesting Support pick, with his ability to peel almost as hard as Janna/Braum can while simultaneously able to initiate with his Biggest Snowball Ever and do massive damage with Absolute Zero. He is definitely worth a try!
