Choose Champion Build:
Default supportive jungler
If your top and mid are AD
Attack speed bush assault meme
Threats & Synergies
Really annoying, if he gets ahead he can instakill you in an assault and he is able to gank nonstop
If he knows what he does , you dont have much of a chance against him and once he goes to your jungle its hard to get him out again
Can just pull through your root and if he ults you youre out of luck
too. much. burst. and ranged on top
Steal all his blues and make him cry. Only becomes dangerous when he ults you Try to root him when he goes through walls
Ranged and with a slow is not fun to deal with
Daisy in champion form, but much faster and impossible to get out of your jungle once he goes there, he can just dash to you and strike you down before daisy can even knock him up
Just make sure you dont get bursted down by a fully charged combo
He cant do much to you and you cant do much to him. You can Q him mid-air
Its not hard to keep your distance, but you cant fight him at all
Not so dangerous, shield when she ults you
If you dont let yourself get hit by his dash youre safe
You can easily keep your distance with your root, but he nukes daisy and his jungle clear is so fast he steals your jungle faster than you can steal his with a smite
If he ults there is literally nothing you can do, run away, utilize shureliyas
You might think he is a counter due to the bush passive but he is really not that dangerous
Hard to kill but easy to deal with
One Q is all you need to make him completely useless
Easily 1v1d if you initiate the attack, a nightmare in teamfights and in the late game
His playstyle is very unique and always slightly support oriented
Unlike many champions, Ivern doesnt have a clear skill rotation that you just run down and repeat, instead you have the ability to really make plays with him, which makes him a rather skill based champ, but not in the sense of pulling of combos that require practice and fast reactions but instead of knowing exactly what you want to do and how you are going to do it, you will most likely need a lot of experience to do very good with him, which is also why you should only use this guide as an orientation when starting to play Ivern and then figure out everything on your own.
Even though he is really fun to play, I do not think he is suited for everyone, his playstyle is very different from other junglers and requires more planning and thinking, and if youre someone who just wants to get as many kills as possible, this isnt really your optimal choice.
I made this guide trying to keep it simple without writing a whole book (seriously who needs to read all that to learn a champion?) but including everything needed to easily get going with Ivern
Ward enemy blue before it spawns
Decide on Route:
Raptors > Red > Blue > Smite Scuttle > Gromp > Wolves > Collect Raptors > Collect Red > Smite Krugs > Collect Wolves > Collect Gromp
Raptors > Red > Smite enemy blue > Krugs > Red > Raptors > Wolves > Blue > Smite Scuttle > Gromp
WIP due to 8.10
You can solo Dragon as soon as you hit level 6, given that you have your ult and smite, just keep shielding daisy. Make sure you have blue buff to not run out of mana and shield daisy often enough
Generally speaking, Ivern has perfect synergy with everything that can go all-in.
In fights you should stay out of the danger zone where you can get nuked, instead, send Daisy in to fight for you - since you can shield her and your Q has a very long range you still participate in fights to the fullest if your intent is to do damage, but often you should focus on shielding the enemy teams target to help out your team, secure kills or even start engages using your Q and using Daisy as a substitute for an engaging Tank
But Daisy isnt only pretty tanky, she also does quite some Damage and her knockup radius is massive, its like a pocket Braum Ult on every third hit and can hit the whole enemy team if positioned correctly.
The downside to playing Ivern is that youre not a solo carry. If all your lanes are doing badly it doesnt look good for you. Ivern can help one good person become the carry of the whole game, but he can almost never carry the game by himself all alone.
- Runic Echoes not longer reccomended due to movement speed removal
