Now this isnt 100% right, you all know it depends on the player but if the enemy Varus is good, he will give you a hard time poking with his E/Q where your axes will drop.
Also, in level6+ if he gets you on his ult, you wont be able to catch your axe which makes you lose alot of damage.

One of my favourites...
This duo is just perfect, her hard CC and your high damage is a perfect combination. While your enemies are cc'ed for ages you just damage them! If she hits her full combo, you will most likely kill your enemy or make him flash/heal away...
